Chapter 77

  Chapter 77

"We're almost there," said Sarah as she and Michael Jackson approached the location of the Tollan weapons.

As the two of them walked into the futuristic building covered in white walls and opaque windows, they quickly found the room storing the phase shifting weapons meant to be used against the planet Earth. The two walked inside and noticed several large cylinder shaped devices made using the most advanced Tollan technologies.

"Why couldn't we just beam them out?" wondered Michael looking at the enormous size of the weapons.

"This place is heavily shielded, not only that but with Reva's shield emitter covering the entire city it would be impossible to teleport them to the Samantha," said Sarah. "Fortunately, Reva and Freyr developed a subspace beacon that should be able to penetrate both shields and allow Godspeed to get a lock."

The two then began to print subspace beacons. They then ran throughout the futuristic room and began to put the beacons on every single device making sure to hit every one. Within a few minutes, they were finished.

Sarah tapped her holobadge activating its subspace communicator, "Sarah to the Samantha, we've tagged all of the devices. They're ready to beam up."

"Copy that Sarah, beaming them up now," said Egeria.

In a flash, the Samantha had used Godspeed to teleport all of the Tollan phase shifting weapons to the hangar bay of the ship. Sarah had turned to leave when she unexpectedly bumped into a tall white man wearing a long robe and covered in ornate Egyptian jewelry.

"Ah, Osiris, what a pleasant surprise. Our Lord wondered what had happened to you."

Standing behind Sarah was none other than Tanith. Accompanying the minor Goa'uld were six Jaffa brandishing the formidable staff weapons. Sarah tried to hit Tanith but the strong Goa'uld effortlessly knocked her aside. Quickly, Michael went into action activating his nanite armor. Sarah ran away and hid behind an empty column while Michael attacked Tanith and his guards. The Jaffa began firing volleys of staff blasts at Michael. Some hit, others were deflected using Michael's telekinesis, still none were able to stop Michael or injure him while being protected by Reva's nanite suit of Armor. Soon Michael began to get the upper hand against Tanith's royal guards and two of them were taken out following a direct hit in the chest. The other Jaffa ran towards him and attempted to disarm him using their hands. That proved ineffective, with Michael's movement's two quick and aiming too accurate for any of the Jaffa to get close enough and take his weapon. The remaining two Jaffa ran towards Michael after the other four had failed. As the final Jaffa got into position, they raised their staff weapons at the male elf and prepared to fire. Michael, having learned from his experience taking on the Hebridean prisoners, simply extended his hand and pushed the enemy Jaffa using the power of his elven mind. The Jaffa went flying in the air and were knocked unconscious by Michael's telekinetic assault.

While this was happening, Tanith could not help but wonder how the man in white armor could be doing this. Never before had he witnessed such power from what he thought was a mere human. Then Michael turned his attention towards Tanith who was standing near the wall of the large room. He tried firing shots at the minor Goa'uld but to no avail. Tanith had activated his own personal shield instead. Michael then focused his mind calling upon his elven powers and fired a long beam towards Tanith eventually bypassing his shield.

"Ouh," said Tanith. "How did you do that?"

Michael, infuriated by the way he treated Sarah lifted up his hand one more time and used his telekinesis to lift Tanith's and push him against the wall.

Tanith struggled to breath as he laid there dangling in midair by Michael Jackson. When Sarah saw that Michael had subdued Tanith she walked over to where he was standing. Then, with a thought, the male elf removed his helmet revealing a very familiar face.

"D-D-Daniel Jackson," Tanith squirmed. Tanith had mistaken the elven duplicate of Daniel Jackson with Michael. Despite his long red hair the two were identical in every way.

Tanith's anger rose sharply upon seeing Daniel's face. He had come into contact with SG-1 several times. Using all his willpower, Tanith lifted his hand brandishing a Kara Kesh and blasted both Michael and Sarah into the air. Sarah fell on the floor but Michael hit his head on a concrete ledge and began gashing pools of blood.

Tanith dusted himself off and walked over to an unconscious Michael Jackson.

"Why, you're not Daniel Jackson. Dr. Jackson can't do what you can do. What kind of Hak-Tar are you?" wondered Tanith, using the Goa'uld name for an advanced human. "With a host like that, I'd be the most powerful system Lord, even more powerful than Lord Anubis."

As Tanith hovered over Michael's wounded body he began to notice that the blood coming from him had stopped and that his body was beginning to heal.

"Interesting. Your body has a healing factor even greater than mine. Hmm, let's see if you can heal from this," said Tanith as he activated his Kara Kesh.

The central jewel of the Goa'uld bangle glowed bright red as Tanith activated the gruesome power of the Kara Kesh.

"Ahhhh!" screamed Michael as a concussive blast from Tanith's Kara Kesh burrowed into Michael's back, breaking his spine.

" — And for good measure," Tanith fired again, this time over Michael Jackson's legs, crushing both legs in the process.

Sarah struggled to get up, as Tanith continued to torture Michael Jackson.

  "Michael!" screamed the College Professor.

"Ah, so that's your name. For a second, I thought you were Daniel Jackson," said Tanith.

The cruel Goa'uld then turned his attention to Sarah, his eyes flashing white with rage.

The bold Goa'uld walked over to her and then grabbed the beautiful college professor by the neck lifting her up in place.

"Hmm, you're not Osiris, either. I sense no symbiote in you,"said Tanith as he held Sarah up by the neck. "I know, how about I take a closer look and find out."

Tanith raised his Kara Kesh and activated it attempting to see through the former Goa'uld's skull, but no matter how hard he tried, it wouldn't go through, then it dawned to him that Sarah was wearing a personal shield. Tanith analyzed his hand around her neck and realized he wasn't holding her neck at all but a thin layered green forcefield. Tanith then looked around her body to see what could be causing the forcefield until he laid eyes on a Sarah's gold Star Fleet inspired medallion.

"Oh my," said Tanith, "Would you look at that." Tanith focused on the small thin layer between himself and the gold badge and punctured through the small shield. "Hmm, you must be running out of energy," said Tanith as he removed her holobadge with relative ease. "Now let's try this again."

The Goa'uld Lord then raised his Kara Kesh again this time piercing deep into the skull of Sarah Gardner.

"As I suspected; someone removed your symbiote. Maybe the same ones who gave you that ridiculous dress and silly badge," said Tanith. The evil Goa'uld minor lord continued to torture Sarah using his Kara Kesh, a painful line of white energy shooting forth from the device.

"Ahhhh," she screamed, her mind exploding with pain.

Then in the distance, Tanith heard a loud voice.

  "Let — Her — Fucking — Go!"

There at the entrance, stood none other than Amos Fyree.

Amos ran towards Tanith with all his might and the evil Goa'uld responded in kind, by throwing his old professor on the ground.

"Come and get me!" said the arrogant Goa'uld.

Amos raced towards Tanith with all his might and printed two Lantean blasters. He then proceeded to launch a barrage of rapid fire attacks from each of the futuristic pistols. As the blasts made their way towards Tanith, however, the evil servant of Anubis lifted his Kara Kesh and stopped the deadly assault with his personal shield.

"You're going to have to do better than that, boy," said the insipid alien snake.

When Amos saw the personal shield he froze and panicked. He knew that the shield would be able to stop the blasts from his Lantean blasters. Then he thought back to the battle at the shield generator on Hala. All he had to do was focus and the charged shot was large enough to break through the replicator queen's barrier. Amos took the Lantean blasters in his hand, held them up towards Tanith and concentrated, then he ran towards the Goa'uld one more time. He fired one shot.

  Direct hit.

  Nothing.

He fired the second shot, this time with a larger bolt.

  Again, Direct Hit.

Still Nothing; But he got pushed back a little bit this time.

He charged the blasters again. This time he had an idea.

When the blasters were fully charged, he disappeared.

"Where'd he go?" said Tanith as he trembled at the abrupt disappearance of Amos Fyree.

"Right here, bro!" Amos was standing right in front of Tanith, both blasters charged and ready.

  Godspeed.

  Tanith's face oozed with fear.

  "Fyree!"

Amos fired the two blasters. The subsequent wave of energy was so massive that it pushed Tanith back on his heels. He then collapsed, rolling back several hundred feet on the ground. With one giant leap, Amos jumped into the air in order to launch one final strike at Tanith. As Amos descended Tanith lifted up his Kara Kesh, more so out of dread than retaliation. He then closed his eyes, folded his head towards his shoulder and fired. The devastating pulse that emanated from the alien bangle was enough to push Amos into the ceiling of the building, cracking its roof, and then making him fall face first on the ground.

Amos was gone. Knocked out cold by the concussive force made by Tanith's Kara Kesh. Tanith then proceeded to go back to Sarah and continued to torture amos's old professor. Sarah screamed with agony as Tanith lifted his kara kesh and poured its venomous energy into her skull.

While this was happening Amos came about, his entire body oozing with pain.

"Damn I should have had Reba put inertia dampeners and this body armor," said Amos as he came too. As Amos lay there on the ground he could hear Dr Gardner scream in pain.

"Ahhhhh," screamed Professor Gardner. "Stop it!"

Amos's blood boiled at the site of Sarah being tortured by Tanith. As he tried to get up, he could feel anger rise within him; a type of anger he had never felt before. Amos got onto his feet, his entire body radiating heat like an all consuming Fyree. As he looked down he could tell that the palms of his hands were beginning to glow.

"I take great pleasure torturing you," said Tanith as he continued to torture the former host of Osiris. "When this is over I might revive you and put another symbiote inside of you and make you my Queen."

Sarah's eyes grew wide with fear at the possibility of becoming one of Tanith's sex slaves. Still Tanith salivated at the mere thought of the former host to Osiris serving him in every possible way. Then, all of a sudden, Tanith saw something bright in the corner of his eye.

"What the?" said Tanith as a giant fireball made its way to the Goa'uld.

  Pyrokinesis.

Amos had unlocked another one of the power of the Ancients. With his hands clasped tight Amos had summoned a giant fireball and launched it at Tanith from the other side of the room.

"Ahhhh, my hand!" screamed Tanith, as Amos's fireball scorched his hand. The flame from Amos's ember continued to make its way up Tanith's arm towards his face, burning away large portions of his clothing and flesh. Succumbing to the flames, Tanith tripped and fell to the ground, his body writhing in pain.

Amos walked over to Tanith and removed his helmet. Then in a blink of an eye, both of his hands were enveloped in flames.

Amos lifted up his hands preparing to give the damned Goa'uld his final strike. When Sarah lifted up her hand urging Amos to stop.

"Amos, [cough], wait, [cough], don't kill him," uttered Sarah in a stupefied frenzy. "While I was being tortured, his host reached out to me and asked to be free from his symbiote."

Amos quickly extinguished his flames as the burnt Tanith lay there on the ground.

Tanith laughed and said, "haha, you're so soft. You care more about saving the host when you should be more worried about killing me instead."

Amos looked down at the defeated Goa'uld, with anger and disgust in his eyes. Tanith continued to laugh uncontrollably, mocking Amos for his small victory.

Then in an instant, Tanith stopped laughing.

In Amos's hand was none other than Tanith's symbiote twisting and squirming with pain.

  Godspeed.

Amos had locked on to Tanith's symbiote while it was still inside of his host's mind and used godspeed to rip out the damned Goa'uld.

Amos looked at the symbiote as it twisted and turned in Amos's hand. Then, like the end of a match, Tanith's symbiote was suddenly engulfed in flames.
