Chapter 47

  Chapter 47

  “Try it again!” said Amos.

  “I can't!” squirmed Sha're.

Amos and Sha're were in the Samantha's gymnasium practicing their new Lantean powers.

“Just concentrate Sha're. You lifted the ball with your telekinesis a few minutes ago, now it's time you move on to heavier objects like this box of supplies,” instructed Amos.

Reva, who was busy running on the treadmill in a black hooded halter top and pair of black leggings, stopped the treadmill printed a bottle of gatorade and approached the mat where Amos and Sha're were practicing.

"Like this,”uttered Reva. With one hand outstretched, Reva lifted the heavy crate with her mind and held it up suspended in the air.

“How the hell did you do that?”yelled Sha're.

“Practice. Also I was created with the ability to use 45% of my mental capacity as well as the ability to improve my mind even further. Currently, I'm utilizing 55% of my mind and eventually my mind will become even stronger,”said Reva as she lowered the box back to the ground.

"Her mind should too,” Amos exclaimed. Downloading the knowledge of the ancients puts you on a path towards ascension. When your mind reaches 93% you should be able to ascend,”he added. "Now Sha're, try again.”

Sha're widened her stance and focused her mind on the large crate. Then after much struggle she lifted the box of crates several meters into the air.

“I did it,”screamed Dr. Jackson's wife. “I lifted the box!”

“Yes you did Sha're! Good job, now lower it slowly.”

Sha're repositioned herself to lower the box. As she lowered the large crate of supplies, however, she suddenly lost control and the entire crate of boxes began to wobble in every direction. Sha're tried to regain control of the crate but the more she tried the more the heavy box of supplies fidgeted in the air.

"Concentrate Sha're. Stabilize the box,”coached Amos.

Suddenly, the large crate drifted sideways towards the ship's jacuzzi where Egeria was sitting watching the training unfold. Sha're then lost complete control of the metal crate and the box fell straight down into the jacuzzi where Egeria was reclining.

Fear captured the crew of the Samantha Carter as the large and heavy crate fell top first towards Egeria. Many of its electrically charged contents fell out of the box and if any one of them touched the water, Egeria would be dead. Without hesitation, Egeria lifted her hand out of the water and caught the falling debris with her mind. Egeria, the Queen of the Tok'ra, had telekinesis.

  "Holy Shit!”said Amos.

"Holy Shit, indeed,”said Reva jokingly, her voice filled with comical relief.

Egeria placed the falling debris back into the box and effortlessly lowered the crate back on the gymnasium floor. The remaining crew of the Samantha then walked over to Egeria to see if she was ok.

“Hey Egeria, you ok?” asked Amos, still worried about the condition of the aged Queen.

“I am alright,” she said before climbing out of the Jacuzzi.

Egeria emerged from the Jacuzzi wearing a tight red bikini and t-string with ten golden hoops going down her midsection holding the entire ensemble together. It was a stark contrast to Sha're who was wearing a long sleeve sweat shirt and gray bottoms leaving nothing to be desired.

Amos was about to speak, but had forgotten what he was going to say, as Egeria emerged glistening from Samantha's jacuzzi.

Reva printed a Lantean scanner and walked over to examine Egeria. “Are you sure you're ok, my love?” said Reva as she moved her scanner over every inch of Egeria's body.

"Wait, did you just say my love?!”blurted Amos, finally snapping back into attention.

“Yes, my king, Egeria and I are already sleeping with each other,” said Reva. “Remember, sleeping with beautiful women is also a part of my purpose.”

Egeria bit the side of her lower lip and looked up at Amos with a seductive caution. If Reva had already slept with Queen Egeria his dream was about to come true.

Sha're cleared her throat, crossed her arms, and strained her eyebrows and said, “Ahem, so how did she do that, she didn't download the knowledge of the Ancients. Is it the elven body that she has?

"No,”said Amos in a deep masculine tone. “Her body – “ taking a quick pause then continuing. “Was given the same mental parameters as a normal human being. She should only be able to use 15% of her mind.”

Reva shook her head in disagreement as she continued to run tests on Egeria's mind. “I'm reading 60% of mental activity. Her mental powers are currently 5% greater than my own!”

  "That's impossible!”exclaimed Sha're.

  “Right Amos?”

  “Amos?!?!”

“Oh yeah, that's right.”Amos was once again entranced by Egeria's body and took forever for him to respond. Then his mind caught fire once again as it had done many times before.

"Her symbiote,”said Amos, his mind catching fire.

"Her symbiote is the reason why she is able to use more of her mind.”

"But Ampu, my kind are not telepathic.” said Egeria, her words filled with comfort, seduction, and submission.

Amos smiled, shook his finger and said, “No, think about it. You told me yourself that night when we were together; the Tok'ra share a psychic link with their hosts and you are not used to being in a body without another consciousness. Suppressing the other consciousness may act as a debilitating agent preventing the Tok'ra, or the Goa’uld for that matter, from using their full mental abilities. Oh my God, this is a discovery for the ages!” Amos proclaimed, his voice filled with awe and excitement.

Sha're began to smile recognizing this truth as well. “When I was host to Amaunet, I was able to send a telepathic message to Daniel while the demon used a Goa’uld hand device on him.”

"That's right! I forgot about those. Think about it. All of the Goa’uld technology that we've seen them use requires a mental component – a sort of telepathic trigger that is required for them to work. Their advanced intelligence, their ability to communicate telepathically with their host, all of those Goa’uld handheld devices. What if the Goa’uld were actually telepathic and didn't know it. What if the fact that they have to take a living host mutes their telepathic abilities preventing them from utilizing the full capabilities of their minds. Yes. Yes. It makes perfect sense.”

Egeria placed her hands on her hips, looked at Amos and began to smile, “The psychic connection between symbiote and host is one of the reasons why I spurned the Goa’uld and started the Tok'ra. Living a truly symbiotic life with my host was so enriching I chose to live alongside my host instead of burying them in dark recesses of the mind. This is something other Goa’uld don't share. They constantly stifle the human consciousness, favoring power and control. Instead I chose to let my host go free, both of us cohabitating the same mind and the same body. The resulting union brought forth something rich, something substantial, something –

  "... beautiful,” Amos interjected.

Egeria blushed, her rosy cheeks glowing as bright as the red hair dangling from her wet body.

  “Yes, Ampu, something beautiful.”

Amos was about to say something else, but suddenly Michael's voice could be heard over the ship's intercom.

"Hello everyone, could you hurry up front, you're going to want to see this.”

Reva printed a towel for Egeria and the four of them headed to the bridge.
