Prologue

  Prologue

It was a bright, yet misty, winter’s morning in Autumn, the Fyree Estate on the colony world of Eden. The Flames were scurrying about attending to their chores while Amos Fyree, patriarch of several noble Lantean bloodlines and king of several worlds, was on his couch playing with his daughter Samantha reminiscing on where he had come from and where he was going.

  “Tell me the story, da!”

Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

“Tell me the story again!” begged Samantha Carter Fyree, in her thick Lantean accent.

Amos could barely remember the story Samantha wanted to tell, however. It had been seven years since he went back in time and remade the galactic order. It had been nearly a decade when he escaped the destruction of the USAF vessel George Hammond over the planet of Idavallor. Yet, on this cold Christmas morning Amos Fyree, former member of SG-1, couldn’t help but ponder the past and tell his young, half human half lantean, daughter about how he went back in time and brought about the third Lantean age.

Crawling on the living room floor of his large four story mansion were three of his sons, Romulus, Reemus, and Troy. As he looked over at them, he realized that they too were byproducts of this story. Without his actions his family, his wives -- the Flames -- would never have existed.

So one more time, Amos went inside of himself and once again remembered the past he had came from, the past he had changed, and the struggles he and his family had to endure to create the Lantean Commonwealth. A Commonwealth stretching across one million worlds, ten galaxies, and spread across multiple timelines.
