Mitras looked at the vial of ambrosia Horus had thrown to him.
“I suppose I should go heal Maahes and Montu with this,” he said.
Mitras raised his hand and uttered an invocation. Moments later, his sword flew back into his grasp, and he caught it firmly. He then turned to Sol, who was sitting on the ground.
“What will you do, Sol? Will you go after Lady Epona?” he asked.
“I was d-defeated by a si-single attack from that wo-woman… I don’t feel ve-very confident right now,” the blond god replied dejectedly.
“You shouldn’t be afraid. That woman stopped my strongest technique with a single palm as well… and yet Athena defeated her with one strike,” Mitras replied, lowering his gaze.
“It feels as though we didn’t truly keep our promise—only luck was on our side,” he added.
“I will go after Miss E-Epona,” Sol said firmly. “E-even if I die… I would ra-rather do so fighting beside her.”
“I wish you luck, my dear friend,” Mitras replied.
Sol nodded.
The two gods took off in opposite directions. Mitras headed off to search for the wounded Egyptian gods, while Sol followed after Epona.
Meanwhile, Athena sprinted north at tremendous speed, leaving a massive cloud of dust behind her feet.
“Oh, look at that poor fool who doesn’t even know how to fly,” sneered a group of malakim who tried to ambush her.
“I don’t have time for you,” Athena said as she raised her fist and punched the air.
A colossal gust of wind erupted across the desert, annihilating several malakim in a single blow.
Hundreds more tried to intercept her, but Athena defeated them with simple boxing motions that unleashed violent windstorms. Malakim fell in droves.
“Halt, Athena,” a voice called out ahead.
She glanced forward without slowing down.
Ten gods stood there, accompanied by monstrous creatures—hydras, chimeras, dark pegasi, cyclopes, and massive crocodilian beasts.
“I am Catubodua, leader of the Celtic war gods. Though we are not Keres, we are strong enough to stop you here,” said a short-haired blond man clad in Celtic warrior armor.
The others wore similar attire, though three women among them were dressed as druids.

Athena muttered quietly, “Piglasia Atiná (Athena, the boxer),” and with a lightning-fast punch unleashed a shockwave that sent every god and monster flying.
“Sorry, everyone, but I’m in a hurry. I can’t let that bird-man beat me,” Athena said, glancing back without stopping.
“L-Lady… Menrva… please avenge us…” one man whispered before losing consciousness.
Elsewhere, Horus flew at full speed when groups of malakim began to surround him.
“We will not allow you to reach Areopagus,” the corrupted angels declared.
Horus made a subtle motion with his scepter. Countless beams of light flooded the sky, slicing through the malakim and reducing them to fragments.
“Face someone on your own level,” Horus said without slowing.
A squadron of winged gods approached him, accompanied by harpies, sirens, and gigantic birds known as Anzu.
“Do you enjoy fighting malakim, Horus? Why not face grigori like us—” began the red-haired winged leader, but he was cut off mid-sentence as light beams pierced through gods and monsters alike, reducing them to pieces.
“You and the malakim are no different to me,” Horus replied calmly.
“Great Gurzil… stop this monster…” the winged god muttered before collapsing unconscious.
Far away, within the Palace of Areopagus, there was a magnificent chamber filled with vibrant colors and countless books. Golden walls and marble columns framed a display case showing a goddess raising a spear toward a blue sky, a cyclops-like monster crushed beneath her feet. The walls were adorned with carvings of war chariots, horses, lynxes, and shields.
Inside, several nymphs were brushing the hair of the goddess Menrva, who sat upon a majestic throne of cedar and gold, clad only in a semi-transparent towel.
“She’s finally here. Athena has arrived!” Menrva exclaimed eagerly.
“Your Majesty,” one nymph said, “you wouldn’t wish to face Athena with your hair unkempt—”
“You don’t understand! I’ve waited for this moment since I was a child! My greatest wish is to cross spears with her!” Menrva replied, rising and pushing aside the nymph.
Suddenly, static electricity crackled around her—and in an instant, she vanished from the nymphs’ sight.
Athena continued running, knocking aside malakim who tried to stop her, when she suddenly felt a powerful divine presence nearby and halted.
She turned to her right and saw the beautiful goddess Menrva standing atop a mountain, still wearing her semi-transparent garment.
“A—” Menrva tried to say.
“It’s Lady Menrva! She’ll defeat Athena easily!” the malakim of Ares cheered.
“At—” Menrva tried again.
Athena stared at her silently.
“ATHENAAAA! KYAAAAAA!” Menrva screamed, her face bright red, eyes shut tight, hands covering her cheeks.
“I—I’m Menrva, your number-one fan! I’m the leader of your fan club!” the Etruscan goddess shouted, jumping excitedly.
The malakim stared in confusion. Athena looked both surprised and deeply disappointed.
“You forgot to get dressed, princess,” Athena shouted.
“KYAAAAAA! How embarrassing! Athena saw my private parts!” Menrva screamed, desperately trying to cover herself.
“…Is this really happening?” Athena thought, stunned.
On the opposite side of the planet, Horus continued flying when a powerful beam struck toward him. He dodged effortlessly but landed on the ground. A man stood before him.
“Who the hell are you?” Horus demanded, pointing his white scepter.
“My name is Gurzil. I am the second Keres of the great Ares. It is always an honor to fight neighboring gods,” said the man, clad in his blood-soaked bull-hide mantle.
“Neighboring gods? Are you Nubian, perhaps?” Horus asked.
“I am a Berber god, great Horus. And soon this place will be your grave—I shall wear your skin as a cloak, just as I did this bull,” Gurzil said with a laugh.
“Eww! That’s disgusting!” Horus exclaimed as the stench reached him.
“And I even bathed before coming! That’s not fair!” Horus complained.
Exactly four hours remained.
