Chapter 87 — The Day the Girls Carried Konoha

  Flames danced across shattered ground.

Smoke spiraled upward like a warning to the heavens.

Yaguri staggered—bleeding, furious, refusing to fall.

Sarada stepped forward, Sharingan blazing, wiping blood from her lip.

  Sarada (voice cracking with rage):

  “Girls are nothing, huh?”

  She inhaled.

  Her chest tightened.

  Sarada:

  “Then—BURN!!!

  TEN THOUSAND FIREBALL JUTSU!!!”

A tidal wave of fire erupted behind her.

Ten thousand blazing fireballs tore across the battlefield like falling meteors.

  Yaguri (screaming):

  “NOOOOO—!!”

  She tried to teleport—

—but claws of pure chakra wrapped around her waist.

  Himawari’s dragons.

Golden. Celestial. Writhing with divine fury.

  Himawari (cold, shaking with power):

  “You think women are weak?

  Then take this with pride.”

The dragons tightened, anchoring Yaguri to the earth.

  Water surged.

  Roots burst from the ground.

Sumire stepped forward. Nue roared behind her.

  Sumire:

  “Wood Style: Hydro-Earth Cannon!!!”

A massive beam—water fused with wood chakra—shot forward and slammed into Yaguri’s chest.

  The air screamed.

  Yaguri was blasted backward.

High above, Aira looked into the sky.

  Her voice cracked.

  Aira (screaming):

  “SHIBAIIIIIIII!!

  WATCH THIS!!

  I’M NOT WEAK ANYMORE!!!”

A thousand celestial hands formed in the heavens.

  Then another thousand.

  Then ten thousand.

They folded into one divine fist.

  Aira:

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.

  “CELESTIAL PUNCH!!!”

  It fell like a meteor.

  It hit Yaguri.

  Again.

  And again.

Until her body began to crumble—

breaking into particles of divine dust.

  Yaguri (disintegrating, screaming):

  “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA—!!!”

Her voice echoed… and vanished into the sky.

  Every Herald froze.

  Asmodeous was… dancing.

  Asmodeous (twirling, delighted):

  “Ooooh~ what music!

The scream of a fool defeated by girls…

  I LOVE IT! I’m recording thisss~”

  Even Shibai stepped back.

  Shibai:

  “…This is unsettling.”

  Sarada collapsed.

  Himawari collapsed.

  Sumire dropped to her knees.

Aira fell face-first into the dust.

Chocho stared at them… then sighed.

  Chocho:

“Guess I’m carrying all four of you… great.”

  She lifted Sarada.

  Then Aira.

  Then Sumire.

  Naruto arrived—eyes wide, shaking.

  Naruto (voice breaking):

  “L-Let me… carry at least one… please…”

  Chocho froze.

  Naruto Uzumaki—crying openly.

She gently handed Himawari to him.

  Sasuke appeared.

Without a word, he lifted Sarada into his arms and vanished.

  Sakura touched Chocho’s shoulder.

  Sakura:

“He never knows what to say when she’s hurt.

  Thank you.”

  Kakashi stepped through the smoke.

  Kakashi (sighing):

“Well… looks like my delivery arrived.”

  He lifted Sumire bridal-style.

  Sumire blinked up weakly.

  Sumire:

  “Did… did I do good…?”

  Kakashi smiled behind the mask.

  Kakashi:

  “Yeah. More than good.

  So… want the name ‘Hatake’?

  You’ve earned it.”

  Sumire blushed.

  Sumire:

  “…I’d like that.”

  Moonlight descended.

  Toneri lifted Aira gently.

  Toneri:

“I will take care of the Queen. Rest now.”

  Aira finally slept.

  Chocho wobbled.

  Chocho:

  “…Nobody for me, huh?”

  A massive hand caught her.

  She looked up.

  Choji.

  Choji (softly):

  “When Shikamaru and Ino fought,

  I carried them too.

  Now it’s my daughter’s turn.”

  Chocho burst into tears.

  Karui kissed her head.

  Karui:

  “Kid… nobody forgets you.”

Eida sat upright in the pod—pale, but alive.

  Beside her… Daemon.

  Small. Glowing faintly with chakra.

  Amado knelt.

  Amado:

“Daemon… take care of your mama.”

  Daemon nodded fiercely.

  Daemon:

  “I’ll protect Mama. Forever.”

  Eida smiled—not smug. Not arrogant.

  Just… warm.

  Eida:

  “It’s weird… hearing that.”

  Yuta scratched his cheek.

  Yuta:

  “So… I’m a father now…

  This’ll take time.”

  Daemon suddenly hugged him.

  Daemon:

“Papa!! Let’s protect Mama Eida together!”

  Yuta froze.

  Then sighed.

  And hugged him back.

Yahiko lay broken on the bed.

Masio sat in front of her.

  Tsunade examined her calmly.

  Tsunade:

  “So… how did it feel?

Standing against gods who defeated Madara and Kaguya?”

  Yahiko smirked through blood.

  Yahiko:

  “They were weak…

  Dad… they can’t kill me.”

  Masio froze.

  Tsunade laughed.

  Yahiko looked straight at her.

  Yahiko:

“You teach them to be support units.

I’ll teach them how to be aggressive.”

  Tsunade smiled.

  Tsunade:

  “Perfect… the new generation.”

  She left.

  Masio panicked.

  Masio:

  “THAT WAS TSUNADE—THE LEGENDARY SANIN—YOU CAN’T—!”

  Yahiko:

“So what? I fought the Hokage.

  They’re nothing.”

  Masio shouted:

  Masio:

“YUTA CAN’T SAVE US EVERY TIME!

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH YOU?!”

  Yahiko smirked.

  Yahiko:

  “Deal with it.”

  She closed her eyes.
