Naruto (quietly):
“I’m going to do what my son asked of me.”
Hinata looks up, startled.
Naruto (still not looking up):
“He didn’t ask me as his father... but as a representative of the opposing side. He stood in front of me not as my child... but as someone seeking justice. And the thought that I hesitated… kills me.”
He sets his chopsticks down, finally raising his head.
Naruto:
“So Hinata… I’m not speaking to you as your husband tonight. I’m speaking to you as the Hokage of this village.”
Naruto (firmly):
“Hiashi Hyuga is under arrest.”
Hinata closes her eyes in silent agony. Hiashi stands beside her, stoic but accepting.
Hiashi (softly):
“I expected this day would come.”
Hinata (softly, tears brimming):
“You’re doing what’s right… even if it tears you apart.”
Sasuke and Sakura sit in silence. Sasuke stares out the window.
Sasuke:
“I was 17 when I was imprisoned for going rogue. They didn't hesitate to chain me… but Hiashi? He walked freely for years.”
Sakura puts her hand over his.

“Age doesn’t wipe away guilt. Pain doesn’t justify silence.”
Sasuke (firmly):
“No matter how old he is, wrong is wrong. I resented it for years… and now it’s time.”
Shikamaru walks in to find Naruto already suited in full Hokage robes, eyes sharp.

Tenten steps in, arms crossed.
Tenten:

Ino, silently watching, nods.
Ino:

Majin (soft):

Yuta (calmly):
“We don't bring light. We become it.”
Ryouta (grins):
“Then let’s shine until they can’t ignore it.”
