Chapter 43: Cant Be Spent-Absolutely Impossible To Spend It All!

Coming back to her senses, Grace quickly opened the "Industrial Bank App." The balance inside had indeed increased, matching the amount in the text message exactly.

It had been half a month since her rebirth, and she never expected such a surprise waiting for her!

Amid the excitement, her recently calmed desire to spend began to stir again with the arrival of this "windfall."

Grace immediately picked up her phone and messaged her sister: "Come out! Let your sister take you to have some fun!"

  Central Hub District SKP Mall.

  "Sis!"

Chloe saw her sister and trotted over. "Why are you taking me to a mall again? I heard this mall is even more upscale than the Metro Mall we went to last time!"

SKP was an international luxury shopping center, with only three locations across National. Metro Mall simply wasn't on the same level in comparison.

Grace looked at her sister with a smile. "No matter how upscale, it's still just a mall. Today, your sister is taking you on an impulsive shopping spree to vent properly!"

"Sis, I'm really fine," Chloe said seriously upon hearing this. "I was a little upset at first, but thinking about what Agent Faye said later, it made sense. I've processed the whole thing."

Looking into her sister's eyes and seeing that she genuinely didn't seem too affected, Grace couldn't help but feel relieved.

"Of course, being fine is best. But today, your sister just wants to shop, shop, shop! Don't be a killjoy!" Grace insisted.

Hearing her sister say this, Chloe obediently nodded. She affectionately linked arms with her sister and said, "Okay, I won't hold back today. I'll accept whatever you buy for me!"

This was exactly what Grace wanted to hear. She hoped her sister could develop a "sense of deserving" instead of constantly feeling that good things were too extravagant for her.

She deserved the very best of everything!

The two sisters turned and stepped through the mall entrance, starting their shopping spree right from the first store on the left, Dior.

"Not this one, this one, or this one. Wrap up the rest."

  CHANEL.

"This one, this one, and this one—one in each size and color, please."

  Clive Christian.

"Two full sets of your classic fragrance series."

  Patek Philippe.

"Please display all the ladies' watches. We'd like to try them one by one."

Such extravagant spending habits were rare even in a mall like SKP, which attracted wealthy clients. The mall staff were soon alerted.

Halfway through their shopping, several individuals in suits carrying bags had joined the procession behind Grace and her sister.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Chloe had never experienced anything like this. Even though her sister seemed perfectly calm, she couldn't help but whisper, "Sis, even so... haven't we bought a bit too much?"

The four people behind them had all eight hands full, probably unable to carry much more.

"And everyone is staring at us..."

Grace casually glanced around upon hearing this. Sure enough, staff from many stores were peeking out to watch. But that was normal; everyone had curiosity.

"This is letting you experience a taste of fame in advance. When you become popular later and appear in public, you'll definitely be surrounded and watched by people too."

"And you should cherish the fact that you can still shop so freely and casually right now. You won't have this kind of opportunity in the future."

Chloe's face scrunched up as she listened. Just as she was about to speak, her sister pulled her into the flagship store of Van Cleef & Arpels.

The store staff instantly perked up a hundredfold, greeting them with overflowing enthusiasm!

They shopped non-stop like this for over two hours, only stopping when both sisters felt utterly exhausted and couldn't walk anymore.

Even so, Grace realized they hadn't even spent a thousand dollars yet.

The money just can't be spent—absolutely impossible to spend it all!

"Miss Grace, would you like to take these items with you in your car, or shall we have them delivered to your home? If you haven't driven, the mall can also provide a dedicated car to take you back," a staff member inquired softly.

The pile of purchased items stacked up like a small mountain, most of them belonging to Chloe. Taking them back to the dorm wasn't practical.

So, Grace wrote down the address of the house at "The Royal Manor": "Deliver them here tomorrow evening."

The staff member, seeing it was an address in "The Royal Manor," instantly understood—definitely a wealthy heiress.

"Sis, you bought a house?" Chloe asked in surprise upon seeing this.

Grace raised an eyebrow with a smile and nodded. "Yes, a brand-new one at that. I haven't even had the chance to take a look myself."

After these two shopping trips, Chloe had completely accepted the fact that her sister had made a lot of money. So, after the initial surprise, she became much more accepting.

"How big is it? How many bedrooms?"

Grace thought for a moment. She remembered the salesperson mentioning something about eight bedrooms when she was learning about the property?

She didn't remember the specifics clearly, so she said offhandedly, "I actually forgot. You can come see the new place tomorrow if you have time. Before Scarlett arrives in Aethelburg for her exams, you can pick out your own room in advance."

  Chloe was utterly dumbfounded.

You bought a house and don't remember how many rooms it has?

  Does that make any sense?

But upon hearing she could have her own room, Chloe got excited again. "I get my own room, Sis?"

Since childhood, she had always shared a room with her sister. The year her sister was preparing for the college entrance exam, to avoid disturbing her studies, Chloe moved in with their mother for a year. The only time she had a room to herself was the year after her sister left for university.

She had always dreamed of having a little space entirely her own.

Grace gently pinched her sister's cheek, smiling. "Of course. Pick one with good sunlight and a big balcony."

Chloe nodded excitedly. "Then I'll go to the new house tomorrow too!"

Afterward, Grace took her sister to a famous sushi restaurant for a meal, not forgetting to pack a portion to bring back for Scarlett.

Outside the dormitory building, before Grace could even get close, she saw Scarlett standing under a streetlight with a boy. The boy stood in the shadows, so Grace couldn't see his face clearly. She only faintly heard Scarlett talking.

"Can you deliver things to me a bit earlier next time? I just took a shower and haven't even dried my hair."

  "Oh, okay. I understand."

  "What happened to your neck?"

"It's nothing. A mosquito bit me, and I scratched it open."

"Why did you scratch so hard? Doesn't it hurt?"

"No, it was just really itchy."

They were chatting about trivial matters. Scarlett's tone was noticeably haughty, while the boy seemed quite even-tempered, just a bit slow to react.

Grace felt a bit odd standing still and eavesdropping on others' conversations. Seeing that the two didn't seem to be in that kind of relationship, Grace simply walked forward. "Scarlett."

Scarlett turned her head and, seeing it was Grace returning, her eyes lit up. "Darling, you're back."

Up close, Grace finally saw the boy clearly. It was the same boy who had helped Scarlett carry her luggage upstairs on the day they changed dorms.

She remembered Scarlett mentioning that this person was the son of her family's driver, a math major at UST (University of Science and Technology).
