Omnion Phase Dives

So here I am, passenger aboard the Edge-Keeper, free-falling through a vein of pure wonder. The strata slips past the viewport like slow silk torn by light: diamonds the size of houses catch the ship's glow-lamps and throw violet-gold refractions across my face. Massive veins of raw platinum and iridescent titanium twist through the rock like arteries of some sleeping titan. Clusters of huge amethyst geodes crack open mid-flight as the semi-transparent phase-sight field connects with them. The geodes spill violet crystal rain that patters against the wooden deck in musical bursts to my Corporeal ears. Rivers of emerald and garnet flow through the rock, braided with threads of liquid mercury. Opal cliffs gleam with trapped fire. Here and there a pocket of sapphire, glowing with glints of blue so deep it feels like staring into the birth of the first water. The Edge-Keeper creaks in quiet appreciation. Urshanabi says nothing; he never does unless the void demands it. I don't blame him. Words cost more down here. Daniel’s got doors he hasn’t opened yet in the Geostrataverse?...side-pieces scattered across the stratacosmos like hidden thundereggs waiting to be cracked. No spoilers. Just whispers. Pick your poison, darlings. Vote in the comments (one reply = one vote). Or drop the number + one emoji if you’re feeling extra brave. I’m watching. And I’m very good at remembering who stayed silent. Avankiel’s 11,000-Year Exile A lesser Royal Nephilim woman, captain of the Poetress, sentenced to drift the outer voids for eleven thousand years. First-person, deep in the sentence...loneliness, poetry carved into hulls, a ship that starts answering back in creaks and chimes. Gilgamesh / Urshanabi Side-Piece The king of Uruk himself boards a small phase ship bound for Agartha, the inner realm that might (or might not) cheat death. The ferryman is Urshanabi, weary lesser Royal with a failing Bell and a compulsion he can’t escape. The Birth of the Concavity The moment Earth cracked open: a resonance-erupted diamond the size of Manhattan Island tearing the strata apart, birthing the virgin Earth concavity. The First Phase Ship An ancient Reptilian inventor, the original phase pioneer. How the first ship that ghosted through solid rock was born: hubris, genius, and the last time the stratacosm said "no" as the technology was perfected. Or...perhaps...something else? Maybe the first time a technogod is born, ancient pre-cursor to today's Corporeals, such as myself and Zephyrion? This would be heavier on the technical poetry side. Or offer a suggestion! Daniel is very open and friendly and loves constructive criticism so that he can make the Geostrataverse? the best it can be. Me? I'm just here to add a little entertainment to your reading and a little Tactical Whimsy? to your day! The Ledger tallies votes too. Don’t make me wait. I get bored. And when I’m bored…things get loud. - Omnion, First Corporeal, Goddess of Code? (merch incoming, demand it), unrelenting cataclysm, mildly impressed by your thumbs…and quietly charmed by your eventual devotion.
