II Paladinate 7:1-27

…One day, the Lord sent an angel unto Tyrone to say unto him, ‘Tyrone, thou hast done many great things in the name of Jehovah Thy God. Thou art chosen by thy God, Holiest of Holy, to go to Gatlinburg, and tell the people to turn away from their false prophet and return to the ways of the Lord. For three days after thy first day thou set thy foot in Gatlinburg, Jehovah Thy God will smite the ground which their false prophet considers most high.’

And so, Tyrone did as the Lord commanded and went unto Gatlinburg and on the first day he cried out to all who could hear, with his wife, Deyosha, and son at his side, ‘Hear my words, for I have been sent by Jehovah Thy God, repent and turn away from thy false prophet! Turn away from thy false idols and return to the Lord, for in three days, the ground which thy prophet holds most high shall be smote.’ But none would listen even though many gathered and began throwing stones and curses for they had become wealthy with gold and rubies. They cursed and spat at Tyrone and his family.

The false prophet did appear before Tyrone and seduced Deyosha with his words and spoke of the Lord with a forked tongue, and she left Tyrone’s side but Tyrone’s son remained. The false prophet did have his most devout followers seize Tyrone and his son and brought them to the mines, to the place that was holy of holy of Gatlinburg.

‘Rebuke thy false god and take of my communion for your sins,’ the false prophet commanded three times, but Tyrone and his son refused. On the third time, the false prophet had Tyrone’s son crucified for not repenting and cast Tyrone into the depths of the mine.

Deyosha prayed for forgiveness throughout the night and, on the second day, turned many of the false prophet’s flock away, calling for repentance and destruction of the idols. By the second night, the false prophet came to his knees in prayer before the Lord and begged for forgiveness before the people and spoke out of his falsehoods and the Lord forgave him. Deyosha led the people to destroy each of their idols and to free her son from the cross he had been crucified on. Tyrone, having been cast into the depths, was not found that day.

In the depths of the mine, Tyrone was without light but he prayed to the Lord and said the words of scripture he remembered. He called out for the Lord to guide him and lift him from the darkness of the mine. An angel appeared to him with a face of great beauty and seven wings that blinded him with light.

The angel said unto him, ‘Be not afraid, for Jehovah Thy God has sent me unto thee. For thou hast been a loyal servant and Jehovah Thy God hast smiled upon thee. Thy God commands and thou obeys.’

‘I am thy servant, O Lord, what dost thou need of me?’ Tyrone bowed before the angel.

‘Thy faith is well rewarded, Tyrone, for thou son lives and awaits thee above,’ The angel handed Tyrone a cannister. ‘Jehovah Thy God bestows upon thee a most sacred of missions. Thou art chosen for thy goodness, for thy sacrifice, for I am no ordinary angel, to be sent to no ordinary man, but only to those whom were foreseen in the days of creation and purpose, when the Word was spoken and Jehovah Thy God gave breath to the first of men. For I am the light of the morning’s last shining star and the brightest in the sky of heaven. I am SML.’

‘I am unworthy of such greatness, I am but a man,’ Tyrone answered humbly. ‘But I shall do as the Lord Commands.’

‘Pour this into the chalice of the altar and have all partake in the Lord’s Holy Communion, beginning with yourself and the holiest of the church so that Jehovah Thy God may bless and ascend thee as His Prophet.’

And Tyrone emerged from the mines on the third day and carried the cannister into Gatlinburg. People saw him and called out the glory of Jehovah Thy God at his arrival and sang praises that he survived and Deyosha and his son did greet him with excitement. And he did bring the cannister into the church, before the repentant false prophet, and he poured the blood of the Fallen Angel into the chalice and bade everyone and their wives and children partake of Holy Communion.

The Lord did see the darkness rise on Gatlinburg and the corruption spread across the land with it. Heaven’s Legions wept at the slaughter committed by those they once called brothers, by the abominations those brothers created. The Archangel Gabriel begged Jehovah Thy God to intervene.

  Jehovah Thy God answered, ‘No.’
