America, California, Los Angeles port, 20:00. . .
Mari and Eissen have arrived at a certain port in Los Angeles. Their Judge duty has brought them here after Mari senses Greed coming from this location. They are currently hopping off between giant containers in this giant port, reaching the source of the Greed.
“So, Mari-chan! Wanna guess what kinda greedy scheme this man or woman is doing inside this port?”
“Hmm, probably fraudulence of some sort! Like maybe the man or woman in question is stealing some imported items from other countries for their own. And they are gonna list the items as missing or damaged as official reports.”
“Good guess! My guess would probably be some type of illegal trading. There are two people trying to schedule a meeting somewhere hidden inside this giant port. Possibly drug dealers or something along that line.”
“Oohh! Good guess, Ei-chan!”
“Uum, I wanted to suggest making it a bet, but I realized quickly that that’s probably not a good idea to bet on something like this. . .”
“Yeah, you’re right, Ei-chan!”

*DANG DANG*
Mari signals something to Eissen with her hands, and they land on top of a stack of three containers. They both quickly crouch and crawl forward to peek below. Down below, there is a certain ‘alleyway’ with many containers on both sides, three meters wide. There are two people talking discreetly in the alleyway.
One is a 43-year-old man whose top of his head is bald and the sides of his hair are thinning out due to age, and the other is a mysterious man, dressed in all black, wearing a half red half black mask, a black hat, a pair of red gloves, a pair of black leather shoes, a black suit with a black tie, and a white shirt underneath.
“W-WHAT WAS THAT SOUND?” said the 43-year-old guy.
“Oh, c’mon! Probably cats or something! Nobody else is here!” said the masked man.
“A-Alright then if you say so! So, you have the goods?”
The masked man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a syringe already filled to the brim with blood.
“Here it is!”
“O-Only one?”
“Of course! You only have enough money for one!”
“But I thought you got three for this much?”
The 43-year-old man pulls out his cash money, around 10,000 US Dollars in total.
“No! No! That price is for regulars! First timers only get one for that much!”
“Tch! I feel cheated, but I can’t deny how effective these ‘drugs’ are!”
The man gives him the money, and the masked man gives the man the syringe.
“YES! YES! YES! FINALLY! NOW I CAN EXACT MY REVENGE ON THAT STUPID BOSS OF MINE!! YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!”
“Now! Now! Please don’t tell anyone else that you met me, or else!”
The masked man raises his right arm, and a whirlwind suddenly appears, coiling around it.
“I’m gonna have to eliminate you forever!”
“A-Alright, alright! Geez! Of course I won’t tell anyone! Besides, who is going to believe me that I bought this from a man in a black suit wearing a funny mask in the middle of the night?”
“I don’t understand what you meant, but alright. Now, please be careful with the syringe!”
“Huh?”
“Check the top part of it!”
The 43-year-old guy did as he was told and saw that there was some kind of mechanism on the top part of the syringe. The needle of the syringe is also sealed by a plastic cover for safety.
“There is a lock on that syringe in case an accident happens, so you don’t waste that precious blood!”
“OH! HOW CLEVER! WHAT A GENIUS DESIGN!!”
The masked man pulls out a folded piece of paper from his pocket.
“Here’s the step-by-step manual on how to unlock the mechanism and how to use the syringe! There’s also a complete detail of what the blood actually does!”
“Ah! Thank you! This is great!”
“Please remember that if there’s something wrong during usage, we DO NOT take responsibility for it. The risk and everything else fall towards the buyer here!”
“Don’t worry! I’m very much aware of that!”
“Well then, go away now! I need to meet another customer in another location in half an hour!”
“Alright, sir! Good night and thank you!”
“Alright, hold on a second here!”
“What did you give him, funny masked man guy??”

Suddenly, the two of them heard two other people talking, and the voice came from behind the masked man. The masked man immediately turns around in panic.
“HEY!! I THOUGHT YOU WERE ALONE?! WHAT IS THIS BS THEN? IF YOU LIE TO ME, I’M GOING TO KILL YOU RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!!”
“I-I REALLY AM ALONE!! I DON’T KNOW WHO THEY ARE!! PLEASE, BELIEVE ME!! TRUST ME, I REALLY WANTED TO GET REVENGE ON MY STUPID BOSS! I WOULDN’T WANNA RISK MY LIFE BY OFFENDING YOU BY MAKING SOMEONE TAIL ME!!”
“Alright, good point!! WHO ARE YOU TWO? WHAT ARE YOU DOING AT THIS PLACE AT THIS HOUR?”
“That’s our line!” said Eissen.

Mari walks forward a bit and summons her giant scythe and points its blade at the two of them.
“Are you selling one measly syringe of junk for 10,000 US Dollars? You serious? That’s fraudulence, sir!”
“THAT IS NOT JUNK!! WATCH YOUR MOUTH, PIPSQUEAK!!!”
*BWOOOOSSHHHH*
Mari activates her Vein Armor and suddenly lunges forward towards the masked guy. She stops right in front of him.
“Who did you call pipsquake, clown?”
Mari thrusts her left palm towards the masked man’s mask.
*BRAK*
“AAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!!”
*DAHK*
Mari broke the mask off his face, and the masked guy was sent flying three meters away from his spot. He falls to the ground with his back kissing it. He gets up and sits on the ground, holding his face from the pain of the impact. Without his mask, everyone can see that he has brown short hair and a pair of bright green eyes. His face also looks very young, possibly in his 20s.
“FUCK!! WHAT’S A BELIEVER DOING HERE?? WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?”
“Well, well! I am glad you asked! EI-CHAN!!”
“R-right. . .”
Eissen runs to Mari’s side and stands side by side. Mari puts her hand on her face, letting her eyes see through the gaps between her fingers. She also places her scythe to stand on her right side while holding it.
“KH KH KH KH!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! REJOICE YOU FILTHY MORTALS!! MY NAME IS KOBAYASHI MARI!! I AM SHE WHO WAS SENT BY GOD HIMSELF, IESU-SAMA!! I AM JUDGE NUMBER SIX, THE JUDGE OF GREED!! I’VE COME HERE TO DELIVER DIVINE PUNISHMENT TO THOSE WHO COMMIT THE SIN OF GREED! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAA!!”
Mari introduces herself using her eighth-grade syndrome antics.
“. . .”
“What?”
“What is she talking about?”
Both the 43-year-old man and the maskless masked man were left in confusion.

Mari looks towards Eissen because of his lack of follow-up. She sees that Eissen is just standing still without doing anything.
“E-Ei-chan! What about your part?” whispers Mari.
“I-I apologize, Mari-chan! It’s impossible! I can’t do poses like you! It’s too cringey!” whispers Eissen.
“W-WHAT? ARE YOU SAYING I’M CRINGEY, EI-CHAN?!” Mari suddenly shouts.
“NOOOOOO!!! FOR YOU IT’S CUTE!! FOR ME IT’S CRINGEY!! I CAN’T DO POSES LIKE YOU IN PUBLIC!! IT’S EMBARASSING!!”
“H-HUUHHH??”
“(Did he just call me cute?)”

The maskless masked guy suddenly flies towards Mari. There are whirlwinds whirling on both his legs and arms. He prepares a punch towards Mari.
“GET YOUR OLD MARRIED COUPLE ARGUMENT ELSEWHERE!!!”
He swings his whirlwind imbued fist at Mari’s face, but she easily dodges the punch by moving her head to the left.
“WE ARE NOT MARRIED!!’” shout both Eissen and Mari in harmony.
*BAAAMMM*
Mari punched the man in the stomach, and he was sent flying three meters away. He recovers in midair and lands safely on the ground.
“URGH!!”
The man holds his stomach with both of his hands.
“(DAMMIT!! I CREATED WHIRLWIND IN FRONT OF MY BELLY AND IT STILL HURTS THIS MUCH!! WHO IS THIS SILLY GIRL?)”
“Say, what’s in that syringe?” asks Mari.
“Urgh. . . Secret!”
“Wrong answer! That just makes me want to know more!!”
*BWOOSSHHH*

Mari suddenly jumps towards the 43-year-old man, appears behind him, and takes the syringe directly from his hands, without him ever reacting.
“What is this?”
“EEHH?? WHEN DID YOU GET HERE?” said the 43-year-old man, surprised after the fact.
Mari focuses her stare on the syringe.
“IS THIS BLOOD?” shouts Mari.
*!*
“A-ARE YOU SURE, MARI-CHAN?”
“It’s just that. . . the red is slightly different. Blood is supposed to be slightly darker, but this blood is bright, almost luminescent.”
“Luminescent?”
“GIVE IT BACK!!”
The 43-year-old guy turns around and tries to take back the syringe in anger.
*GRABS*
Mari grabs the man’s hand with her left hand and lifts it upwards.
“Sir, how much did you pay that guy again for this?” asks Mari as she lifts the syringe towards the man.
“T-Ten thousand dollars. . .”
“*Sigh* Mister, you are clearly being scammed here! This junk doesn’t worth anything. . .”
Mari throws the syringe behind her nonchalantly.
“WHA--?!”
*BWOOOOSSHHHH*
The maskless masked man immediately flies to catch the thrown syringe.
*DAHK*
He successfully catches the syringe, but he falls to the ground, shoulder first, in doing so.
“GRRRR!!! THIS STUFF IS VERY VALUABLE!! YOUR LIFE WON’T EVEN BE ENOUGH TO PAY FOR THIS!!”
Mari lets go of the 43-year-old guy’s hand and jumps towards the maskless masked guy. She lands directly behind him.
“Yeah, yeah! Whatever, bro!”
Mari clenches her left fist.
*BAAAMMMM*
“OOOHHHHOOORRGHHH!!”
The maskless masked guy turned around, and his belly was immediately punched by Mari.
“(It was so fast I couldn’t even react in time! DAMMIT!! IT HURTS SO MUCH!!)”
The man immediately falls to his knees as he keeps holding his tummy with his left hand to ease the pain.
“So, wanna tell me what the deal is with that blood? Why are you selling blood to others? That’s strange. Normally, that doesn’t really count as a sin, but my Greed senses reacted to it. What is that blood mister??”
“Uuurrrgghhhh. . .”
“Oh, come on! I didn’t hit you that hard, did I?”
“(T-This brat. . . She’s underestimating me so much, huh? I’LL MAKE HER REGRET FOR NOT KILLING ME RIGHT AWAY!! I’LL TEAR HER APART!!)”
Eissen runs to Mari’s side.
“Mari-chan! Let’s start the Judgment right away!!”
“Oh, right!”
Mari clenches her right fist.
“It’s time to go to sleep, mister! I’ll search through your memories to find out about that blood!”
*BWOOOOOSSSHHH*

Suddenly, the maskless masked man shoots out a burst of wind and propels himself 10 meters away from Mari and Eissen.
“Oh no!”
“Tch! He didn’t attack us, so our danger sense didn’t react!”
*DAHK*
“Urgh!”
He lands with his back and hits the ground. He quickly endures the pain to stand up.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN, YOU MENTIONED GOD, RIGHT? HOW FITTING!! WITH THIS, I WILL TRANSFORM INTO A GREAT DEMON AND KILL EVERYONE WHO CLAIMS TO FOLLOW GOD!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”

“MARI-CHAN!!”
“ON IT!!”
*BWOOOOSSHHH*
Mari immediately jumped forward towards the man.
*DAHK*
She reaches the man within milliseconds and kicks the syringe away from his hand.
*PRANG*
The syringe went flying and crashed into the container on the left, and it was broken, spilling all of the blood onto the floor.
“WHAT WERE YOU TRYING TO DO?” shouts Mari.
“Hehehehe! HEHEHEHE!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! YOU’RE TOO LATE, YOUNG GIRL!! I’VE ALREADY INJECTED A LITTLE BIT OF THE BLOOD INTO MY BODY!!”
“What’s that gonna do to you?”
“GOOD QUESTION! OBSERVE CAREFULLY, LITTLE GIRL!! YOU MIGHT AS WELL WANNA TAKE A LOT OF STEPS BACK IF YOU WANNA WATCH PROPERLY!!”
“Huh?”
“(A tremendous amount of heat is coming from his body?)”
The man’s whole body glows in white and yellow.
*BANG*
Eissen warps next to Mari.
“MARI-CHAN!! LET’S GET AWAY FROM HIM!!”
“Right! BUT EI-CHAN!! GET THAT OLD MAN AS WELL! I’LL CARRY HIM!!”
“OH, RIGHT!!”
*BANG*
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*
*GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*
And then, a gigantic explosion suddenly occurred from where the maskless masked man stood. The gigantic explosion was 150 meters in diameter, and its height was 70 meters. The explosion also brightened the night sky a little bit due to its sheer size and brightness. The explosion ravaged most of the port and killed about 100 people who worked the night shift.
. . . . .
Everything went silent for a few seconds after the explosion. A thick cloud of smoke covered everything that was caught in the explosion.
“Urgh. . .”
Eissen opens his eyes, and he realizes that he is lying down on the ground facing the sky. He slowly gets up and sits on the ground. He checked on himself and found no injury whatsoever.
“Phew! Thank you, Lord Jesus!”
Eissen looks to his right and sees that the 43-year-old man is lying unconscious on the ground.
“He doesn’t seem to be injured as well, good!”
*!*
“MARI-CHAN!!”
Eissen quickly looks to the front, and there is a massive cloud of smoke as gigantic as the explosion was, just 2 meters away from him.
*SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH*
After a few seconds, the smoke slowly let up, and a female silhouette appeared in front of him, under all of that smoke.
*COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH*
“Ei-chan. . .”
*!*
*COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH*
“I INHALED ALL OF THIS SMOKE *COUGH COUGH* AND NOW I CAN’T STOP COUGHING!! *COUGH COUGH* EI-CHAAAAAAAAANNNN!!!”
Mari appeared standing still inside, near the edge of the radius of the explosion. She has her Vein armor active, and she was not injured in the slightest.
“I-I am glad you seem fine. But why did you just stand there instead of walking out??”
*COUGH COUGH*
“BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS COOL TO LET YOU SEE MY BACK AS THE SMOKE CLEARED UP!!”
“Mari-chan. . . Are you stupid?” said Eissen with a concerned face.
“DON’T CALL ME STUPID, EI-CHAN!!”
*GRATAK GRATAK*

Suddenly, the ground shakes mildly violently, but it wasn’t exactly caused by an earthquake.
“Mari-chan! Be careful! Earthquake!”
“No, Ei-chan! I don’t think it’s an earthquake. . .”
“Huh? What are you saying?”
The smoke finally clears up completely, and Mari points her index finger upwards to the front.
“Ei-chan! That’s what caused the ground to shake just now!”

Eissen looked in the direction where Mari was pointing, and he saw a kaiju standing in the distance, looming over the port.
