And then slowly but surely, any of her balls of water float back towards the audience’s seats. Some people meet their family members, but a lot of them don’t see them anywhere nearby. But as Lukia promised, they did not panic, and they decided to put their faith in her.

Lukia sits back down in her seat in a very relaxed position.

Suddenly, multiple footsteps were heard coming from the arena. Everyone was surprised by the sight they saw. All of the fighters from the other special viewing room have come down to the arena to confront the Green Reaper, Kobayashi Mari. They all stand up against her, standing side by side, divided into 3 rows, four people in the front, five people in the middle, and the remaining five at the back.
“Green Reaper-san, explain what you are doing right now? Quick!” said Selam.
“If this is a prank, it’s really not funny!” said Megumi.
“We were just in the mood to celebrate your victory.” said Erika.
“Please tell us, you’re not serious about this whole thing, Green Reaper-san!” said Arthur.
“I expected better from someone as strong as you.” said Yuichi.
“Out of everything that happened in this tournament, this is the one that I never anticipated the most.” said Phil.
“It is really putting my perspective of you one hundred and eighty degrees to the other side when I heard you say you’re taking these people hostage.” said Kenichi.
“Now it makes me mad that I got bested by a terrorist! Please tell me that this is just a really bad out-of-season April Fool’s joke.” said Sylvianna.

The Green Reaper, Mari, looks towards all of the fighters with the least bit of interest.
“Do you really think going silent here is going to work?” said the Pharaoh.
“If you don’t release the hostage and drop this whole thing, then you have to fight all of us at the same time!!” said Jeremiah.
“No matter how strong you are, you can’t possibly win!” said Revon.
“Is that really what you think?” said Mari.

Mari lifts her scythe up and slams its bottom handle towards the arena, and it creates a sound that rings through the entire stadium. It also creates a small shockwave and shakes the entire arena a bit.

All of a sudden, someone from the very back of the row jumps up high towards the sky.
“FORGET ABOUT MY REQUEST TO SPAR WITH YOU!! I’M TAKING YOU DOWN RIGHT NOW, RIGHT AWAY!”
It was Ardina. She clenches her fist, and her right hand turns invisible. She falls down towards Mari and swings her fist towards her face.

Ardina lands her invisible fist right at Mari’s face.

Mari takes the punch without a care in the world. Her Vein Armor is active, and Ardina did not even make a dent. Mari clenches her fist and swings it sideways towards Ardina’s right waist.

“OOHHHHHHHOOOOOOOKKKKKKK!!!!”
Ardina regurgitated on impact. Mari bashed her backhandedly with a fist, and she was sent flying really fast to the right, towards the audience. Her invisible being was there to protect her waist, but her invisible being was broken into pieces on impact, and it failed to protect its master.

The people seated right in Ardina’s flying direction were all shouting and panicking, as they rightfully so. All of a sudden, a water wall was erected all across the audience’s seats in its entirety, and its height even reaches the rooftop of the stadium.
Ardina crashed into the water wall, but the water wall did not even budge. The water wall reacted to her arrival and changed shape into a giant hand and safely caught her to avoid further damage.
“Don’t worry, everyone! I got you all covered!” said Lukia to the microphone.

Ardina loses consciousness in one hit. The water-wall-hand puts her down on the grassland below the audience’s seats.
The audience was thankful to Lukia, but then their mood quickly changed as soon as they realized that Ardina, one of the strongest fighters in this entire tournament, was beaten in one hit by the Green Reaper, AKA, Kobayashi Mari. They all fell silent in harmony, and the atmosphere was such a complete turnaround from the joy and gratitude for Lukia earlier.
“GREEN REAPER-SAN!! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ARDINA-SAN?!” said Yuichi in anger.
“She attacked me first, so I just defended myself and took care of her so that she won’t bother me anytime soon, all in one fell swoop. Also, MY NAME IS KOBAYASHI MARI!! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO INTRODUCE MYSELF? IN CASE YOU ALL ARE SLOW OR JUST DOWNRIGHT IGNORANT, THIS WHOLE GREEN REAPER THING IS JUST A MADE-UP IDENTITY I CAME UP WITH!!”
“I see no point in addressing a terrorist properly, to be completely honest!” said Yuichi.

Mari punches the floor below, and the impact creates a small crater all around her. It also creates a massive shockwave and a very loud sound that rings across the entire stadium.
Her head was looking down from her motion of punching the arena. But then she looked up, staring at all the fighters with a very murderous and serious glare.
“Do you really think I am not serious? Who on earth would take over around seventy thousand people hostage for jokes?”
Her tone intimidated all of the fighters. A really frustrating realization hits all of them that all of this is happening because she is serious, with zero chance of it being just a silly little prank. All of the fighters went silent for a few minutes, not able to answer her. But then someone steps up to the front.
“Guys, it’s not that complicated! If she’s really serious, then we’ll just have to stop her! It doesn’t matter how strong she is. This isn’t about strength! Remember what our Faith power is originally for! Why did all of us become Believers in the first place?”
It was Revon. The man with the highest pride ends up being the one who motivates the rest of the fighters.
“Well damn! I am really confused about how to look at your character. Are you really prideful or just plain charismatic?” said Selam after she walked to his side.
“Hey, I’ll take being charismatic, alright!”
“No one who’s actually charismatic is claiming themselves to be charismatic, bro. . .” said Yuichi after he also walked forward.
One by one, the rest of the fighters walk forward as well to stand up to Mari. They all have found their determination in such a short amount of time.
“EVERYONE!!” Revon shouts as he raises his right arm.
“LET’S ALL GO TOGETHER AND STOP THE GREEN REAPER, OR RATHER, KOBAYASHI MARI-SAN!! LET’S BRING HER BACK TO HER SENSES AND FREE ALL THE HOSTAGES!!!”
“YYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!”
Everyone replied in harmony as they also shouted to raise their spirits.
The Pharaoh made the first move. He jumps into the air a bit and summons his giant snake below. He lands on top of it, and the giant snake slithers really quickly towards Mari.
“Your Vein Armor is really tough, Kobayashi-san! Don’t have any hard feelings towards me, but I kinda have to go all out from the beginning.”
The Pharaoh also uses her second Faith power. He summons all four of his elements around him. The yellow rocks latch onto his body and cover it in a suit of armor, leaving his joints open for movements. The rest of the yellow rocks also shape into a 1.5-meter-long spear. His flame flows into the blade of the spear and engulfs it in full, raging fire. His wind gathers on the bottom of both of his feet, and his water forms into a ring surrounding his torso. The Pharaoh uses his Ultimate form.
He prepares to throw his flaming rock spear, and the fire on its blade rages wildly. He creates new water and wind, and they both flow into the tip of the rock spear as well.
“GOD’S PUNISHMENT!!”
He throws his four-elemental-infused spear right towards Mari.

Mari casually grabs the thrown spear with her right hand, clad in her Vein Armor, right on the tip of its blade.
*GRAHK*
She grips her palm and crushes the Pharaoh’s elemental spear into pieces.

All of a sudden, Mari disappears from the Pharaoh’s vision, leaving her giant scythe planted on the floor. She reappears right next to him, even though he’s still going forward on top of his giant venomous snake.
“Pharaoh-san, humans can’t become God.”

“Unless of course-----”
Mari clenches her right fist and swings it towards the Pharaoh’s face.

“-----you have a different meaning of what the word God meant!”

The Pharaoh was punched away from his giant snake and crashed into the floor below. Upon impact, it created a small crater where his head landed, and he lost consciousness. His giant snake immediately disappears as soon as the Pharaoh is knocked out.
Mari lands next to the crater, and she looks towards the rest of the fighters with an intimidating glare.
“Next?”
“TCH!!”
Selam and Sylvianna charge forward together. Selam transforms both of her forearms into pink plasma while Sylvianna takes out three of her special devices.
Selam shoots out twelve plasma beams from both of her fists, and Sylvianna throws her three devices. She has already rigged them so they will explode once they reach Mari.
Mari punches all of Selam’s plasma beams with her hands, and she catches all of Sylvianna’s devices and keeps them in her right fist.
*BOOM BOOM BOOM*
The three devices explode inside Mari’s fist, but the explosions, the flames, and the smoke don’t even escape from her grip. There were only the sounds indicating that they had exploded.
“Are you kidding me? Containing bombs inside her hand?”
“Yep! We kinda knew that she was nuts, but that’s exactly why we have to stop her!”

As the two of them were talking, Mari suddenly appeared between them.
*BAAAAAAAAM*

“OOHHHOOKK!!!”

She punches the two of them right in their stomachs. They both slowly fall to their knees as they’re holding onto their stomachs.

She finishes them off by smacking the back of their heads with her fists. They fall to the floor and lose consciousness.
Mari stares towards the rest of the fighters again.
“Next?”
Phil and Gabrielle run forwards in harmony.
“Phil-san! Let’s work together!”
“Understood, Gabrielle-san!”
Gabrielle summons his summoned being, and his summoned being immediately flies really high towards the sky.

Phil reaches Mari, and he closes both of his eyes. He reopens them quickly and stares directly at Mari’s eyes. At the same time, Gabrielle’s summoned being in the sky spreads all of its wings open, and they all shine brightly and blind everyone in the stadium. And at the same time again, Gabrielle has reached Mari as well. He has grown a pair of wings on his back, and he thrusts both of his wings towards Mari’s stomach.
*BAAAAAM*

Without doing anything exceptional, Mari simply punches both Phil and Gabrielle at the same time on their faces. They were sent flying away and bounced off the floor a few times, and slid a bit on it. They also got knocked out in one hit.
This time, Mari stares towards the rest of the fighters without saying anything, for her actions have said everything needed to be said about the situation.
“Let’s go, guys!!” said Arthur.
He immediately charges forward, and three other fighters follow him, who are Kenichi, Army-Man, and Yuichi.
“Let’s immediately time all of our attacks so that they hit her at the same time!” said Army-Man.
“Alright!” said Yuichi.
“You got it!” said Kenichi.
“Lead the way, Youngster Army-Man!” said Arthur.
Yuichi freezes his right forearm, Kenichi prepares to strike with his katana, Arthur pukes out a lot of blood, and Army-Man summons a pistol in his right hand.
Yuichi creates a large amount of ice and shapes them into a giant rotating ice buzzsaw. Kenichi imbues his katana with water. Arthur forms all of his blood into 4 giant floating blood hands on his back. Army-Man tries to lock on to Mari and adjusts his aim.
Yuichi launches his giant buzzsaws. Kenichi sends multiple flying water sword slashes. Arthur swings all of his giant blood hands. Army-Man waits a bit until all of their attacks reach Mari, and then he times his shot and immediately swaps places with the bullets.
*BANG*
*GRRRAAAAHHHHKKKK*

Army-Man appears right in front of Mari. He turns around and spins himself while swinging his right leg. He activates his Vein Armor and kicks the giant ice buzzsaws, deflects all the flying water slashes, and kicks away all of the giant blood hands coming after Mari.

Army-Man lands on the floor. He jumps back and lands on Mari’s left, and stands up.
“A-A-A-Army-Man-san. . . .”
Arthur was at a loss for words. He is subconsciously pointing towards Army-Man as he asks questions.
“W-What on earth are you doing?”
“Army-Man-san??”
Yuichi was in disbelief. This is yet another something that he did not expect to unfold in this tournament.
“Why did you. . . block all of our attacks and protect her?”
“Are you. . . kidding me?”
Kenichi wasn’t expecting Army-Man’s actions as well. He is in disbelief at what he has just witnessed.
Megumi and Erika both put their hands to their mouth, showing their disbelief as well. Jeremiah and Revon both have their jaws wide open at another shocking development in this tournament.
“A-A-A-A-A-A-AARMY-MAN IS AN ACCOMPLICE OF GREEEN REAPPEEEERRRRR?? I-I MEAN, KOBAYASHI MARI-SAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN??!?!?!” said Daniel.
“WHAT IS HAPPENIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGGG?????????” said Radomin.
