  I open my eyes and smile a relieved smile. I stand up and turn towards Lily.

  "Sorry *sobs* I got sand in my eyes *sobs*" said Lily as she turned her face away.

  I smiled at her.

  "Let's go, we'll be late."

  Lily wipes her tears.

  "Okay."

  We walk away from the crater. Lily walked at a faster pace than I did.
