Chapter 22: The Dean’s Fury

  Chapter 22: The Dean’s Fury

“First love is unforgettable!” Zhang Yang looked at Xu Danlu with a sorrowful expression.

A faint trace of disappointment flashed in Xu Danlu’s eyes. “So, you still like her!”

“Hey! Cough… Like her? So what if I do? She’s in the heavens, and I’m on the ground.” Zhang Yang continued his nonsense without pressure. “We’re from different worlds. Talking about it only adds more sadness.”

“Yeah! Then stop thinking about it. People have to let go of unrealistic fantasies.” Xu Danlu nodded, seemingly convinced. “But now that you’ve been expelled, what will you do? Bai Liangfeng said if I agree to his condition, he can get the Academic Affairs Office to withdraw the expulsion notice…”

“What condition?” Zhang Yang was so furious he nearly spat blood. He deeply regretted not breaking Bai Liangfeng’s little brother when he had the chance. Whatever the condition was, it had to be something filthy.

Xu Danlu glanced at him shyly and whispered, “What else could it be? You men all think the same way…”

She tried to act casual, but her small hand subconsciously tugged at the hem of her short skirt protectively. These past few days, Zhang Yang had noticed that her outfits were either super short skirts or tiny hot pants—every one of them oozing sex appeal, as if she wanted the whole world to see her long, beautiful legs.

“Xu Danlu, listen to me. If you agree to his terms, you’ll definitely regret it. Doing that would only let that bastard take advantage of you for nothing. Do you really think the school would withdraw an expulsion notice after issuing it? How would the department save face then?” Zhang Yang said irritably. “Stop overthinking. Focus on getting your dad treated in Shanghai first. That’s what matters.”

“Oh.” Xu Danlu looked at Zhang Yang and nodded, but he noticed her fair little hand tugging at the hem of her T-shirt. Clearly, she still had other thoughts in mind.

“I’m serious.” Zhang Yang’s tone turned more solemn. “If you go and plead with that bastard for me, then when you go to Shanghai this time, I won’t be able to go with you.”

“Got it.” Xu Danlu glanced at him and spoke softly.

  “Swear it!”

“Do you have to be like this?” Xu Danlu looked at Zhang Yang, the corners of her lips curving slightly. For some reason, hearing him say that gave her a warm feeling. “Fine, fine, I promise. I’ll never meet Bai Liangfeng. Otherwise… otherwise…”

“Otherwise what?” Zhang Yang stared at her curiously.

Xu Danlu snorted, wrinkled her nose, and huffed, “You can do whatever you want.”

“Gulp!” Zhang Yang swallowed, rubbing his hands lecherously with a grin. “Hey, you said it yourself.”

In the bustling downtown of Meining City, inside the famous Wenling Club, three shirtless men lay on leather recliners in a VIP room on the third floor. Three curvy female masseuses straddled them, tapping and pounding gently, occasionally pressing their ample chests against the men’s backs to tease them.

The young man on the far right grinned wickedly, suddenly flipping over and pinning the masseuse beneath him. His hands slid straight into her neckline, groping aggressively. Anyone who saw him would recognize that he was none other than Bai Liangfeng—the one who was supposedly injured and hospitalized.

But now, there wasn’t a trace of injury on him. While moving, he turned his head toward the bald, middle-aged man of about fifty lying in the center and said breathlessly, “Director Ma, don’t hold back—treat this place like home.”

The bald middle-aged man, called Director Ma, got excited upon hearing that. Following suit, he slipped his grubby hand into the masseuse’s neckline, moaning and groaning.

Seeing this, Bai Liangfeng’s lips curled into a subtle smile. He turned his gaze toward the man on the far left—Bai Gang—who was lying still, and said pleasantly, “Bro, guess what? I just called that slut Xu Danlu. When I told her Zhang Yang got expelled, you should’ve heard how shocked and angry she was. Her desperate voice… damn, it felt better than screwing a hundred women.”

“Heh, of course, we owe it all to Director Ma’s strong support.” Bai Liangfeng turned his attention back to Director Ma, who by now couldn’t hold himself back and had shamelessly pulled out his tool right in front of Bai Liangfeng and Bai Gang, forcing the masseuse to take it in.

The masseuse hesitated, glancing at Bai Liangfeng. Seeing his calm nod, she obediently opened her mouth and got to work.

The lewd scene completely ignited Bai Liangfeng’s lust. He immediately tore off the masseuse’s clothes and indulged himself as well.

“Hmph, by tonight, that delicate beauty Xu Danlu will be the one under me.” Bai Liangfeng fantasized excitedly. He was confident she’d accept his condition and come crawling to him. He’d played with plenty of beauties from Meining University, but never a campus belle like her. It was a regret he planned to fix.

Seeing the others get busy, Bai Gang refused to be left behind. He quickly flipped over and joined in. Soon, the three pairs of men and women were rolling and moaning all over the VIP room, a full-on orgy.

Just as the six of them were getting wild, a black briefcase on one of the recliners suddenly rang with an ear-piercing ringtone.

Bai Liangfeng raised his head irritably from the waves of flesh. That wasn’t his ringtone—so it had to be from Bai Gang or Director Ma.

He then saw Director Ma scramble off the masseuse like a startled pig, rushing toward the black briefcase. He pulled out an iPhone, saw the caller ID, and answered eagerly like a lapdog. “Ha, Director Gao, it’s Ma here. What can I do for you?”

Though called a director, Ma was actually a deputy director, with a superior named Gao above him who had him firmly under control. Director Gao was currently away on a business trip, likely about to get promoted. If Ma could cozy up to him, the director’s seat would surely be his next.

“Ma Kui? Did you issue an expulsion notice today to a fourth-year student named Zhang Yang?”

“Ah, Director Gao, you even know about that? Haha, I forgot to report it to you. That student Zhang Yang is a real thug.” Ma Kui switched the phone to his right hand and straightened his lower body, signaling the masseuse to continue. The woman smirked and climbed back up, getting to work again.

Ma Kui let out an involuntary “Oh!” of pleasure before remembering Director Gao was still on the line. He quickly held it in and continued in an indignant tone, “Director, that Zhang Yang is outrageous! He broke a rib of President Bai from Bai Pharmaceuticals’ son, and that’s not all—he even attacked our department’s counselor, Dr. Bai Gang! Total lawlessness! I reported it to Vice Dean Hong, and we decided to issue the expulsion. I just forgot to inform you—that was my negligence.”

“Enough, enough, what a mess.” Director Gao sounded impatient. “Immediately revoke all disciplinary actions against Zhang Yang—and apologize to him properly!”

“Uh… revoke? Apologize?” Ma Kui froze, and the action below went limp like a worm. “Director, Zhang Yang was so arrogant, even expelling him isn’t too much. Why…”

“Why, my ass! I just got chewed out by Dean Cao! He told me to revoke all punishment against Zhang Yang immediately and bring him back. If he goes missing, you better dig three feet into the ground to find him! You hear me?” Director Gao shouted furiously through the phone.

  “Uh…”

“What do you mean ‘uh’? You’re in big trouble, that’s what!” Director Gao roared before slamming the call shut.

Ma Kui deflated instantly. He looked at the confused masseuse below him, then at his shriveled little buddy, and sighed miserably. Without another word, he rolled out of bed, hastily threw on his clothes, and rushed out.

“Director Ma, what’s wrong?” Seeing Ma Kui panic like a lost dog, Bai Liangfeng stopped his movements and asked in confusion.

“Don’t ask. We’re screwed.” Ma Kui muttered while dressing. “Who the hell is this Zhang Yang? You didn’t even check! You’ve gotten me into deep shit this time.”

“Zhang Yang? What happened?” Bai Liangfeng frowned. When he’d heard Ma Kui mention Zhang Yang’s name during the call, he’d already sensed trouble. Now his suspicion was confirmed.

“What happened?” Ma Kui glared at him angrily. “The higher-ups are asking about it right now! I shouldn’t have listened to your side of the story and issued that notice so recklessly. Damn it, I’m finished. Totally finished.”

Muttering, he stumbled out of the VIP room while fixing his clothes.

Inside, Bai Gang and Bai Liangfeng exchanged confused glances, completely baffled at how things had taken such a drastic turn.

“Let’s go, hurry back to the university and find out what’s going on.”
