1st Point:

  With the conclusion of the Twin Combats Academy arc, and the beginning of the next arc—Ascension—my proposal for the story is to mark this transition as a new moment/tone in the work—a moment that is more “incisive,” both in scenes and in content.

  In broad terms, my goal is to make the story more... naturalistic.

  To make the story more... dark.

  To make the story more... raw.

  To make the story more... adult.

  I understand that, just as there will be people who enjoy this new direction, there may also be those who don’t appreciate it as much. That’s precisely why I want to emphasize that these aspects are intended only as enhancements to make the novel feel more believable.

  This is a new phase where the characters will be much more independent and will have to deal with the consequences of their own choices, as well as their own safety.

  Given the points above, I also want to remind you that, as I begin to explore this fine line of more mature content—blood, sexuality, sexy, massacres, corruption, abuse of power, and the like—I rely heavily on your understanding and engagement regarding any material that might make you uncomfortable. Your feedback truly makes a difference.

  Soon, I will open a survey to see how you feel about this and to gather your opinions on whether the story should be more naturally explicit, remain restrained, or aim for a middle ground.

  Finally, I want to commit to making it easier to skip the stronger scenes whenever they occur, for instance by placing them at the end of chapters, without significantly affecting the overall comprehension of the story.

  It is important to remember that, in a fictional work, the conflict between good and evil—and the dichotomy between them—is often the driving force behind the narrative and character development. It should not be interpreted as an endorsement or glorification of immoral or harmful behavior toward any individual, ethnic group, or social group.

  Instead, it is intended to create an engaging and challenging plot for the characters, providing an environment conducive to growth and evolution.

  5th Point:

  The regions, continents, and worlds explored in this work may reflect nuances that, while reminiscent of historical periods marked by totalitarian, unjust, brutal, alienating, and irrational systems, are not mere reproductions. They are a careful reflection on the possibilities, limits, and alternatives within the complexity of social relationships between individuals, governments, and related structures.
