Eros’s lip twitched. Why does that sound so wrong? Yet, he was genuinely curious about a cat that could do backflips. He immediately wrote on the paper: "Really? I’ve never seen a cat do that. If there’s a chance to witness it, I certainly wouldn't want to miss out."
He slid the note back. When Siphreya read it, the smile on her already beautiful face grew even more radiant.
Late that night, Eros lay in bed, looking at Siphreya as she leaned into his arms, her smooth, fragrant shoulders exposed. He had a peculiar expression on his face. "I didn't expect... that you had never experienced this before."
He truly hadn't. Who would have guessed that a noble lady bold enough to make such a move was actually an untouched maiden?
He had initially assumed this was just a game nobles played to pass the time. After all, private life among the aristocracy in this world was notoriously chaotic, so he had simply decided to follow local customs. Besides, Siphreya was undeniably beautiful, not to mention she was the fiancée of Baron Larry Watt. Since the Baron had tried to kill him, taking his fiancée as a form of revenge felt perfectly reasonable, right?
So, he had come. He had hesitated for a moment at her door—after all, he’d never done anything like this before. But then he thought, I’m already here, might as well go through with it. And so, nature took its course.
But he was genuinely caught off guard by her innocence. It made his head throb. Is this what they call 'falling in battle before the campaign even starts'? What do I do now? Should I ask for advice online? Urgent!
Barbara let out a mocking snort in his mind.
As if sensing his thoughts, Siphreya rolled over to face him, snuggling into his chest with a soft laugh. "Do you think I’m too bold? Did you mistake me for being... loose?"
"I..." Eros was at a loss for words.
Siphreya’s eyes curved, and her lips tilted upward. "Is it possible... that I’m only bold and open for you alone?"
"Huh?"
That sentence completely broke Eros’s composure. He remembered the Punisher Captain mentioning that Larry Watt wanted to murder him because his fiancée liked him. At the time, Eros assumed Siphreya just had a surface-level crush—the kind where you appreciate something beautiful.
Not to brag, but his face in this life truly looked like it had been meticulously carved by a deity. It was only natural for people to like his looks. It was like seeing a handsome guy or a beautiful girl on the street; you might like them, but that doesn't mean you want anything to happen. It’s just an appreciation of beauty.

But now, it seemed things were taking a turn for the complicated.
"You..." It took Eros a long time just to squeeze out that one word.
Siphreya didn't mind. She pressed her face against his chest and murmured to herself, "You know, love is a mysterious thing. From the first moment I saw you, an inexplicable emotion welled up inside me."
"It wasn't because of your handsome face, nor your noble status. It’s as if you possess a certain power that constantly draws me in."
"I’m glad my little trick worked and I got you. I can tell your experience in... this area... isn't very extensive. In fact, you seem to have no experience at all."
"It seems you aren't like other noble scions who use their status and looks to mess around..."
"What are you talking about? I’m incredibly experienced! You’re the one without experience! Don't go around slandering people!" Eros interrupted her with a frantic four-part denial.
What a joke! Does he not have a reputation to maintain? This cannot be endured!
Siphreya froze for a second, then covered her mouth and giggled. After a while, she chuckled, "Alright, alright~ my mistake."
Hearing her coaxing tone—as if she were talking to a child—Eros felt out of his element, but he still gave a small huff. "Of course it was!"
The room fell into a brief silence. A few minutes later, Siphreya spoke again, breaking the quiet. "I must be your first woman, right?"
Eros looked away, his expression becoming unnatural. "No!"
And it was the truth. Technically, his "first" was that eerie girl.
Siphreya was surprised for a moment but didn't dwell on it. "Then the second or third? Either way, not many."
Eros’s lip twitched. Doesn't that still imply I'm inexperienced? Dammit, when am I ever going to stand tall in this regard?
However, he didn't argue. Seeing his silence as a tacit admission, a smile spread across Siphreya’s face. Just as Eros was about to say he would take responsibility, Siphreya beat him to it.
"Don't worry, you don't need to be responsible for me. I know that with my status and talent, I’m not a match for your noble bloodline. So, I don't need you to take responsibility. I only hope you can leave a small place for me by your side. Just a tiny bit is enough."
"I won't ask you to be with me all the time. I only want you to think of me when you have a need—any kind of need."
Eros opened his mouth, stunned by her words. What on earth is happening?
Siphreya looked up and kissed the corner of his mouth. "As for my engagement with Baron Larry Watt, if you don't like it, I can have my father break it off. Or... if you happen to 'like' that setup, I can go through with the marriage. But don't worry, I won't let him touch me. I belong only to you."
Eros wanted to bury his face in his hands. This was getting absurd. Everything that happened tonight made him feel like he was dreaming. Forget it! Why overthink? As the saying goes, 'The car will find its way to the mountain, and the boat will naturally straighten at the bridge.' Sleep.
With that thought, he pulled the blanket over both of them.
The next morning, despite having stayed up all night, Eros left Siphreya’s apartment in high spirits. As for Siphreya, she’d likely be missing her classes today.
Back at his villa, Undine watched her brother walk through the door and asked calmly, "Well? Where were you last night?"
Eros shrugged nonchalantly. "You know the Reincarnation Church’s Cardinal Archbishop is coming to see me today. That’s a Sublime One of at least Sequence 2! I obviously had to do some... preparation!"
Barbara: "..."
Undine was stunned for a moment. Then she thought about it—The dog-thing actually has a point. Facing a Sublime One, no amount of preparation is too much.
Her expression softened slightly, though she still huffed, "What kind of preparation requires keeping me in the dark?"
Eros curled his lip. The kind that definitely requires keeping you in the dark.
