Why does Adyashanti believe that awakening actually highlights unresolved psychological issues rather than fixing them?
The life of enlightened persons like Yang-Ha-Qin of Zen meditation, who experienced it as Zen sickness, where he learned that a sudden sound burst is symptomatic illumination, equivocated to the hearing of Omkar, with visualization of light. He instead in meditation got himself as illumination as what he call Zen sickness, the light flooded his lower trunks upto brain, losing lower locomotor function, deep pressure causing pain from down unto heart, losing the perceivement of existence. Thus he lost his sensual perceivement instead of any realization. His master said that he run after emptiness so hard that it ran after him, catching him.
U.G. Krishnamurthy, another enlightened person, also felt similarly, with annihilation of own ego or I ness, or own name in the eyes of himself. And all the symptoms mentioned above. He said that there is nothing called enlightenment, and you get what you are running from into in this enlightenment, the annihilation of ego directly opens the perceivement of self guilt and pessimism continues and magnifies without a name or shield, with bodily uncomfortability as above. He got this calamity in 1967. Me also realized opening of spiral of sanskar causing perceivement of self guilt and pessimism with emptiness of without giving the container a name, with severe calamities in surroundings coming out to me, as perceivement of dark as in dark matter, eating my ego, and realization of self as shining star in chidakash or spiritual sky in meditation, and this is the thorn helmet and cross of Christ equivalent, or the equilibrium of three gunas or characteristics.
