Analysis of Book by Rhonda Byrne

Why does The greatest Secret by Rhonda Byrne feel so similar to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita?

The greatest secret book deals with-

Rhonda Byrne's The Greatest Secret explains that the greatest secret is discovering your true nature as infinite awareness, which brings lasting happiness and an end to suffering, moving beyond the ego. The book provides wisdom from spiritual teachers, practices for shifting from egoic to aware states, and guidance on using this realization for inner peace rather than just material gain, unlike its predecessor The Secret.

  My viewpoint-

If you follow Gita; there you chant the second hymn of preface Saptashloki Gita about Narayan; you will understand that your consciousness is part of the Integrated conciousness as abyakta or undescribable as Narayan; known as the belly of Vishnu. Thus, to understand it, you have to chant, but just by projecting yourselves to some state wouldn't help. Furthermore, the Gita itself describes Animated God or Shakshat siddhi is a fallible one, a Tamasik or Vicious manifestation of the Moodhabuddhi or lower mentality ununderstood person. Thus integrated conciousness is the correct interpretation instead, but it bringing serinity and happiness is contradictory, as these are not dealt in Gita, but practical experience by practice shows that Halmet of thorn and cross of Christ as it is called; the Dark night of Soul, or Satwa, Rajo and Tamo gunas or characteristics Equibrium as it is called, which cuts down existence itself, is the last portion of this spiritual path and it brings total annihilation. A lower position, where a person is able to see, visualize and analyze his thoughts to be calm and serene, wanting his upliftment in logical way, is the top part of satwagoona or virtuous state, which men misinterpret as illumination. Thus like Osho saying there is no God, or Devil, the word God coming out of Devata, even in the religion of Ahur Mazda, Dev has been used, as Devil's manifestation. Thus they are in Satwa part only, wanting ease through stopping thoughts and maximum ease through concentrated mind using for logic. The Dark night of soul to be transgressed is not easy, Nietzsche took the path, was a theist in this path in initial stages, but by facing calamities and challenges became a severe critic, and at last, his intellect couldn't comprehend, and became mad. Buddha also was in half enlightened state.
