Chapter 39
Strategic Shadows
Location: Eltherion Strategic Tower – Secret War Council Room
That evening, the sky above Middle Wildland was painted in deep violet and black, as if reflecting the growing anxiety among the four key defense strategists of the world.
Elian stood with his arms crossed, staring at a three-dimensional holographic display floating before them.
At its center hovered the structure of an unnaturally dark crystal.
Nocturnium.
“This material…” Elian said slowly.
“It can absorb nearly every form of energy—including photon attacks and magic.”
Elira spoke from across the table.
“But why did it suddenly appear now?”
Dr. Nadia pressed a control on the display. The projection changed into a microscopic view of rotating particles glowing in blue and violet.
“It didn’t suddenly appear,” Nadia explained.
“It was activated.”
“A recent solar eruption triggered a rare particle phenomenon—Varaz Photons. Until now, they only existed in theoretical studies. But now we have real evidence.”
She zoomed the hologram further.
“More importantly… these photons penetrated underground areas containing the Nocturnium core.”
Hasyalys, who had remained silent until now, finally spoke.
“That explains something.”
“Several of our vampire scouts reported strange behavior among isolated beast factions—particularly the Grey Werewolves and certain humanoid fox-beasts.”
She paused.
“The Lykran wolf minority… and nearly half of the Rhogar fox tribe… have disappeared.”
Elian frowned.
“Disappeared?”
“Or sold information to the enemy?”
Hasyalys nodded slowly.
“Our scouts detected passive blood-magic signals near the Black Plains Territory.”
“It’s a communication spell only used when beast clans sell the location of Nocturnium mines to outsiders.”
Her voice darkened.
“To Syavadark.”
Elira slammed her fist onto the table.
“Their betrayal could destroy the entire continent.”
Dr. Nadia inhaled slowly.
“There’s something else.”
“Based on my analysis, Varaz Photons aren’t ordinary particles.”
“They are living particles.”
“They choose who can absorb them.”
Silence filled the room.
“Only individuals with a perfect balance of positive and negative energy fields can synchronize with them.”
“Viszavius once possessed that balance,” Nadia continued.
“That alone made him an absolute anomaly in history.”
Elian stared at the projection.
“If that’s the case… then Nocturnium absorbing Varaz Photons could create—”
“—a Super Medium,” Nadia finished.
“We’ve named the theoretical result Eclipse Core.”
She looked around the table.
“If Syavadark mines all the Nocturnium and injects Varaz Photons into it… they could create a weapon capable of countering both Syazalight and temporal power.”
Hasyalys turned toward the window.
“…The world would fall into eternal night.”
Silence lingered.
Finally, Elira spoke.
Calm.
Decisive.
“Then we must act before they dig deeper.”
“And we must find someone capable of balancing the Varaz Photons.”
Her gaze hardened.
“Otherwise, no one will be able to oppose an enemy as powerful as Viszavius.”
“And the Eclipse Core will turn Middle Wildland into the ultimate stronghold of Syavadark.”

Chapter 40
Legacy of the Werebeast Bloodline
The night sky churned with thick storm clouds, flashing violently with lightning.
Thunder split the darkness, briefly illuminating three towering metallic figures.
They were Syavadark cyborg warriors, creations sent by the dark scientist Valdira. They stood like statues of war gods, surrounding their target.
In front of them stood a young man with messy hair and a half-mischievous grin.
His body was bruised and covered in dust.
To them, he was a nobody.
But they were wrong.
He was Shinin, son of Zedwan—the final heir of the Titan Werebeast bloodline.
“Hey… can’t you guys give me a break first?” Shinin said while raising one hand, swaying slightly.
Varox, the gravity-element cyborg, snorted.
“You want a break?”
“We want you dead.”
Shinin grinned.
“Well… if I’m going to die, at least let me look stylish doing it.”
Suddenly—
He slammed his heel into the ground and launched himself into the air.
His body began to transform.
His legs reshaped into the powerful limbs of a giant grasshopper, launching him far beyond normal physics.
The cyborgs reacted too late.
Before they could attack, Shinin transformed again.
Massive eagle wings burst from his back.
He shot forward like a flaming arrow.
“Catch this—with love!”
In mid-spin, his body shifted again.
This time into a giant flaming rhinoceros.
He crashed into the three cyborgs like a living meteor.
BOOM!
The impact shook the mountainside, shattering rocks behind them in a storm of debris and fire.
The cyborgs were knocked down.
But Shinin wasn’t finished.
He staggered upright, breathing heavily.
“Okay… okay…”
“Time for Plan B.”
“B for Bau.”
His body shifted again. A long furry tail appeared.
He raised it proudly.
“BEAST SKUNK MODE: GASOLIN HAZARD!”
PPPPRRRRFFFRTTT!!!
A thick green cloud blasted toward the cyborgs.
Their sensory systems instantly malfunctioned.
Their optics spun wildly.
Internal shields sealed automatically.
One collapsed unconscious.
Another began vomiting engine oil.
The last froze in place, temporarily disabled.
Shinin smirked proudly.
“See? Never mess with a beast skunk…”
But suddenly—
His body trembled violently.
He didn’t realize it.
Beyond the raging storm above, an ancient inherited power began piercing through dimensions.
“…Father?”
The voice existed only inside his mind.
But his soul recognized it instantly.
Purple light wrapped around his body.
His breathing grew heavier.
Claws extended.
Muscles expanded.
Bones stretched.
Fangs erupted from his jaw.
He was transforming.
But this time—
It wasn’t his choice.
Zedwan had taken control.
“Shinin… rest for a moment.”
“Let me show them why werebeasts are not creatures to be mocked.”
Shinin’s body expanded violently, transforming into a monstrous Titan Werewolf.
His eyes burned with blue fire.
Dark aura and lightning spiraled around him like a storm.
Zedwan—within Shinin’s body—gripped the earth and slammed downward.
BOOOOM!
Varox was hurled into the sky with terrifying force, disappearing into the clouds.
Kaltor attempted to fire—
But Zedwan twisted his arm and threw him away like broken scrap metal.
Reezek screamed.
“Impossible!! He transformed!!!”
Zedwan’s voice echoed like a monstrous wolf’s roar.
“You do not understand true savagery… until you witness a father’s fury!”
Thunder roared.
The ground shattered beneath his feet.
The earth itself seemed to bow.
When everything finally calmed…
Shinin slowly returned to his normal form.
He collapsed onto the ground.
“I… I was aware the whole time…”
“Dad… you took over, didn’t you?”
A gentle voice echoed in his mind.
“I am always with you, Shinin.”
“Even if Irfanos has departed… I remain.”
“Our powers may differ.”
“But our blood is the same.”
“Rise… because the world will not be safe until you become a legend.”
Above him, the clouds slowly parted.
The distant stars began to shine again.
That night, it wasn’t just three cyborgs who were defeated.
A new chapter of history had begun.
Shinin—the reckless troublemaker—was no longer just comic relief.
He was the heir of ancient beast power.
And soon…
He would become a warrior no one ever expected.
