The mimic never came back. Sapphire woke up while me and Alia were.. Busy and just watched us like she had last time. This was beginning to become a thing with us. “Alright! …Now what?” Sapphire said excitedly.
Her speaking was so sudden I looked at her in confusion. She looked back at me in confusion. “It's.. it's been 24 hours..” She said as she trailed off. “Was.. was I not?!” Her eye went wide and tears filled them.
I sighed and shook my head, ignoring her as I walked over to the door. If it had actually been 24 hours… As I had that thought, a popup appeared in front of me.

I frowned at the third message before rolling my eyes. Of course the dungeon was broken. I was almost scared to see what dropped. Nothing.. Nothing dropped. The city was simply the way it had been before. I explored the city, went through the alleyways, even checked the games in the casino… nothing.
I sighed as I realized the issue. The dungeon was complete, but we were stuck. Which means we would have to do it all over again? We knew the trick this time but…
I glanced over at Sapphire and genuinely considered how much the mimic would remember… Alia was standing next to Sapphire and was talking to her excitedly. Sapphire’s eyes were round and she was breathing heavily.
Neither had bothered getting dressed and when I had suggested it. Sapphire had looked at me like she wasn’t sure if I was serious or not and Alia laughed. I wasn’t sure how to respond to that, and I really wasn’t in the mood.

I blinked in confusion. “Then why are you holding me down? You have to fight and defeat Hero to conquer his body, silly!” I giggled at her ridiculous notion of capturing me.
But she held me with her weird water.. Things? It was like a water column that I was trapped inside. “No..” She said weakly as she made eye contact with me. “I want you..”

I paused at that and was beyond confused. Why would anyone want me over Hero? The very idea was blasphemy! “That is blasphemy!” I snapped at her. She physically seemed to wither and tears filled her eyes. After a moment the water holding me let go and she fell to her knees.
