Chapter Eight.

  Looking back on everyone I’ve ever fought on my journey, there are only a small handful that I wouldn’t want to fight again.

  Her sword closes in on me and slashes right across my chest.

  From my chest, blood spews like a fountain and covers her face in my blood.

  She licks her lips free of my blood, but that's when she notices it.

  Using , I had earlier swapped myself out for a double.

  I made a human looking doll that I could control with .

  However, the taste isn’t so far different that you would be able to notice it that easily unless you drink blood often!

  She's really fast and constantly moving to chase after me.

  Could I put up some kind of wall?

  That would be using earth magic, and she’d just freeze the wall and smash through it like it were ice.

  If I were to stack them to create a wall, we would be here all day.

  So, what I can do is only do a cut every five centimeters and create a razor net shield wall thing.

  Nia Hall dodges to the side, but instead of dodging the attack, she runs right into it.

  She collides with shield , and her entire right side now has a plethora of slashes.

  Even though she's covered with her own blood, that doesn’t stop her.

  She charges again but runs headfirst into another shield .

  The blood falls down her face, mixing with the blood from the fake me.

  All that blood has nearly dyed her ivory hair a sanguine red.

  She looks like a devil.

  She walks around the shield and begins her charge once again.

  This is getting boring.

  You chase me, I almost die, I cheat, you continue chasing.

  We've been repeating this cycle.

  This time, instead of running into the wall, she dodged.

  Are we serious?

  I know the issue.

  She's able to know where the cut is because I point and say “”.

  It's the whole tropes thing.

  Main characters always announce their attack and scream it’s name and all that jazz,

  If I don't, I would be subverting the trope and potentially dooming myself to a tragic isekai.

  There will be no isekai if one of these psychotic teachers kills me!

  For safety measures I'm leaving five shield s covering the entrance.
