A Magic Spell huh. Let's make sure, we're talking about the same thing.
Magic Spells
A way to expel mana, that it results in effects on the outside world
Sounds like there is no magic circle. Instead it seems like one expels the mana and then controls the area it touches.
Mana Control
grants the passive ability to manipute mana
So it's passive. That's why it wouldn't work. Last but not least let's check on Mana Sense.

So that one is also passive.

This time I don't try to activate a skill, but instead focus on my body. Soon I sense a kind of energy being stored inside. It seems to be circuting around my body in my blood veins.

Completely off.Activated, but tho I can think faster, I still perceive the world in normal speed. I myself don't know how this is possible.Even my perception is slowed down. This allows me to think just as much as stage two, but unlike before, my thoughts are clearer and I can concentrate better.Furthermore, I've also noticed, that I can control the intensity of the skill.

Funnily enough, even tho I am consuming my SP faster, than it's regenerating through the Lesser SP-Recovery, it still grows, because my level-ups are so fast.
Looking at Dig, it doesn't seem to level up anymore. Is level 50 some kind of level cap?
Mana Control and Mana Sense have already leveled up three times! I definitely didn't practice in secret. I did it for everyone to see! (In my cave)
Also I've received Lesser Strength and Lesser Dexterity recently. Makes sense, considering digging requires strength and body control. This means, only Lesser Defence is missing and then I'll have the whole pack. Well, not exactly, since Lesser Intelligence already evolved to Intelligence.
I'm already suspecting by how much Intelligence increases my stats, but let's look anyway.

By the way, how long will that Lesser SP-Recovery skill stay at level one?!
Moving on, with level 50 Sense Surroundings, I can sense a bit more than a kilometer around me. Pretty OP if you ask me, especially considering the fact that I can sense through walls.
