Episode 40: Battle Ball Challenge! The Bullies Lesson!!

[Scene 1 – The Bullies’ Territory]

The episode opens with the Crystal Brawlers traveling along Path 5, excited to get closer to their goal of obtaining the fifth medal. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn when they arrive at a new area known as the Bullies’ Territory. A group of rough-looking bullies stands in their way, blocking the path with smug grins on their faces.

  Bully Leader (grinning):

“Well, well, what do we have here? A bunch of Crystal Brawlers thinking they can just pass through our turf? Not so fast!”

  Kouchu (frowning, standing firm):

“We’re just passing through to get to the next city. We don’t want trouble.”

  Bully 2 (mocking):

“Too bad, you’re not going anywhere unless you can beat us. You see, we’ve got a little game for you.”

  Bully Leader (smiling slyly):

“Welcome to Battle Ball—the roughest sport you’ll ever play. Beat us in this game, and you can go on your way. Fail, and you’ll have to turn back.”

[Scene 2 – The Rough Sport: Battle Ball]

The brawlers exchange wary glances, realizing that this challenge isn’t going to be easy. The bullies set up an improvised Battle Ball court, a mix between volleyball and dodgeball, but much more aggressive. The rules are simple: hit the ball over a large net, but the other team can attack with their own tricks to sabotage your game.

  Shauna (grinning):

“This looks a little too intense. Are we sure we want to play this?”

  Sakuro (nodding):

“We don’t have much of a choice if we want to keep going. We’ll have to outsmart them.”

  Roaracryst (growling, ready for action):

  “Let’s do this!”

  Kouchu (nodding confidently):

“Alright, we can do this. We’ll need to work together and stay focused.”

[Scene 3 – The Game Begins]

The Battle Ball game kicks off with the bullies on one side and the Crystal Brawlers on the other. The ball is large and bouncy, but it’s not just a game of passing the ball over the net—it’s also about dodging, outsmarting, and using strategy.

The bullies quickly take the upper hand, playing aggressively and using tricks to try to knock the brawlers off balance.

  Bully 3 (smirking):

“Think you can beat us? We’ve been playing this game for years!”

  Bully Leader (laughing):

  “Get ready to lose!”

The bullies spike the ball hard, aiming it at Kouchu, but he leaps into action, narrowly dodging the ball as it whizzes by. Shauna and Sakuro quickly react, working together to keep the ball in play.

  Shauna (dodging the ball):

  “Watch out, Sakuro!”

  Sakuro (smiling):

  “I’m on it!”

The ball bounces off the ground, but they manage to get it back into play. Roaracryst is ready, using his agility to jump higher than the bullies expect and knocking the ball back over the net with a powerful strike.

  Roaracryst (roaring):

  “Take this!”

The bullies are surprised by the unexpected strength and teamwork of the brawlers. They recover quickly, but the brawlers continue to stay focused, passing and spiking the ball back and forth. It’s clear the bullies underestimate their opponents.

[Scene 4 – Dustin Joins the Game]

In the middle of the intense match, Dustin, who had been watching from the sidelines, suddenly comes into play, much to the bullies’ confusion. Dustin grins mischievously, ready to help the brawlers turn the tide of the game.

  Dustin (cheerfully):

“Looks like you could use an extra player! Mind if I jump in?”

  Kouchu (surprised but relieved):

“Dustin? Sure, we could use you!”

  Sakuro (nodding):

  “Let’s take them down together!”

Dustin’s entrance changes the dynamic of the game. He uses his quick reflexes and charm to distract the bullies, throwing them off their game. He passes the ball to Kouchu, who performs a perfect serve that sends the bullies into a panic.

  Bully Leader (frowning):

“Wait a second… this isn’t fair! You have an extra player!”

  Dustin (smiling):

“Guess that’s what you get for underestimating us!”

[Scene 5 – The Final Play]

With Dustin’s help, the brawlers outplay the bullies at their own game. They continue to pass, serve, and block with perfect coordination, eventually wearing the bullies down. The final point comes when Kouchu, with a confident smirk, spikes the ball so hard that it crashes right through the bullies’ defense and lands in their court.

  Kouchu (cheering):

  “We did it!”

  Shauna (laughing):

  “That was awesome!”

  Sakuro (smiling):

  “Great teamwork, everyone.”

  Dustin (grinning):

  “That’s how you show them!”

The bullies, now defeated and exhausted, drop to their knees in defeat. They have no choice but to honor their promise.

  Bully Leader (groaning):

“Fine, you win. You can pass through. But don’t think this is over!”

  Kouchu (smiling confidently):

“We’ll be ready for whatever you throw at us next.”

[Scene 6 – The Brawlers Continue Their Journey]

With the bullies defeated and the path cleared, the brawlers continue their journey toward Dark City to find the fifth medal. Dustin decides to stick with them for a while longer, offering his help as they travel.

  Kouchu (grinning):

“Thanks for the help, Dustin. We couldn’t have done it without you.”

  Dustin (laughing):

  “No problem. It was fun!”

  Sakuro (smiling):

“Let’s keep moving. We’re getting closer to the medal.”

The brawlers walk off into the distance, ready for the next challenge on their journey.
