Not episode 8 – Intermission. Return home.

INTERIOR - The girl’s underground base, living space. Basically a big hole in the ground with a bunch of tunnels. Surrounded by dirt. The firepce is still totally on.

PRESENT- THE BOY (cospying as the girl, but the hat says “BUG” on it), THE GIRL (dressed like usual. So, grey hoodie, pants, ballcap. Except her ballcap is maroon, and doesn't say BUG on it.)

TIME- Later than lunch time, but not THAT much ter. Within the lunch-zone.

"ow." The boy stated as he collided head first with the hard, packed and well-trodden dirt that made up the floor of the girl's underground base.

This was met with ughter, of course, from the girl, who was still reclining on the sofa just beside the entrance. However, unlike the uproarious, hyena-like ughter she usually dispyed, this ugh was notably more subdued. Although it still managed to portray her inherent malice and constant sense of mockery.

"Good job, idiot." She mocked, again, in a very subdued, almost zy fashion.

"oh no." During his fall, the boy accidentally dropped one of the boxes, and the top flew open, spilling the wrap-sandwich and much of the fry-cut strips of salty dry fruit onto the dirt.

"You're eating that one, idiot." The girl ftly stated. The girl was no stranger to eating food with a little dirt on it (she actually preferred it, in some cases) but she mostly just wanted to establish dominance. For the millionth time.

"that meets my expectations." The boy lifted the food back into the fallen box before lifting himself up off the ground. "oh. i cannot turn my neck. this is not pleasent"

"Wow." The girl let out a chuckle as she say the boy's neck leaning an incorrect direction. "Nice nding, idiot."

"that is the third time you have called me that within the past minute." The boy noted her odd pattern of speech.

"It's a nothing day today." She reminded him of the thing she'd established a few hours ago. "I don't need to spend the energy to come up with more creative ways to belittle you. That'd be a whole thing."

The boy tilted his whole upper-body, as he still really couldn't maneuver his neck much. "was setting up that trap not a thing?"

"Don't question me, idiot." She said, though she knew he was very much going to continue to question her in the future. She contempted getting up and stabbing him, but decided against it for now. Maybe ter, though. "Also, no. I did it zily. Just like when I mutited the rabbit. Lazily. Idiot."

"how did you manage to catch one 'zily? there are not any around here, so you would have had to venture far outside the base."

  "I have my ways."

  "which are?"

  "Mine." She confirmed.

The boy opened his mouth to speak.

"Now, shut up and bring me the food already. Let's eat." She commanded. "Idiot."

  The boy obeyed.

"Oh, I'll fix your stupid idiot neck, also. Later. Lazily. Don't ask how."

  The boy sadly obeyed.

The girl pulled open the box and swiftly grasped the sandwich, shoving well over half of it into her mouth in a single motion, and a handful of fruit-fries (not fried, just cut like fries) in right after.

"Aufmaufshmaufhawud ffm addssfrink." The girl chewed with her mouth open, spitting with reckless abandon as she spoke with food in her mouth.

"that would have been preferable." Somehow, the boy understood what she said just then. We didn't. You'll just have to live with that.

The girl nodded to her own statement as she chewed the food into a ball of brownish-green mush, and began the process of swallowing the thing.

"are you going to join mouse and jok tomorrow?" The boy asked once her mouth had been cleared a bit.

"Guess so." Girl shrug. "Tommorow'll be a thing day. That'll be fun. Maybe. I dunno what it is."

"jok mentioned escaped b experiments while he was carrying me." The boy had a slight boyish glint in his eye as he brought this up.

"Pfft." Girl ugh. "Forgot I made him carry you. That was good."

"i would very much like to see and sense what is happening with that and add them to my understanding." The boy leaned in a little closer.

"Hm." The girl shoved the rest of her wrap into her mouth, swiftly chewing and swallowing. "Well, you're not coming."

  "really?"

"Yeah, no, that sounds annoying as hell." She shoved another fistfull of fruit-fries into her mouth. "You're staying here."

  "oh." The boy's shoulders slumped.

  . . .

The boy began eating his sandwich. It was hard to eat with his neck the way it was. He decided to stop eating his sandwich.

  "Get f##ked." Said the girl.
