Episode 4 – The Training Day Caper – Part 1 – Denial

  INTERIOR – AGAIN, IT’S THE GIRL’S UNDERGROUND BASE. THE FIREPLACE IS GENTLY ROARING.

  PRESENT – THE GIRL (on the sofa, sitting upside down. Seemed like fun. She is wearing her usual garb: fur armor, grey hoodie, maroon hat) – THE BOY (sitting on a chair pulled from the kitchen table. He's been sitting there since lunch. Nobody told him to change seats.)

  TIME – LIKELY SOMETIME AFTER NOON – THEY’D EATEN LUNCH AN HOUR OR SO AGO.

  “i have heard the word ‘bandit’ a number of times.” The boy said, continuing a previous conversation that had been happening off-screen. “including from you. but i am led to believe that my current knowledge of the word is inaccurate. please expin what it means.”

  “Uhhh….” Said the still upside-down girl, her hair falling towards the floor. “Nah. Don’t feel like it.”

  “oh. okay.” The boy was mildly saddened by this. He’d have to ask someone else, he supposed, but he preferred to hear things from the girl. Especially, in this case, since the girl had previously cmed to be a Bandit herself. It’d be good to acquire the information from a first-hand source.

  “BUT!” The girl shouted, he legs unching her up off the couch, and into a flip. An incredible dispy of both acrobatics and lower body strength. “That gives me an idea! We’re going hunting!”

  “but we went hunting yesterday.” They did not usually go hunting two days in a row.

  “I DO NOT CARE! C’mon, Bug, we’re heading out!” She bounded quickly towards the dder.

  “okay.” As we’ve said, this was decidedly unusual. Still, the boy got up and also made way for the dder. Walking at a normal pace.

  The girl swiftly began to climb, with the boy trailing not too far behind. Within moments, the two had climbed o-

  “I’M GONNA CHANGE CLOTHES FIRST.” The girl let of the dder, falling on top of the boy, using him to cushion her nding.

  Ah, she remembered to change clothes before she left, this time. Good. I hope she remembers going forward, as well.
