As I stepped out of my cave, I realized that this was the only entrance and exit to my dwelling.
A warm breeze brushed against my skin, carrying the fresh scent of grass as it drifted through the air.
Before me y a breathtaking sight—towering mountain peaks and a dense, majestic forest that could leave anyone speechless.
“Woah…”
The word escaped my lips in awe.
The scene before me was truly breathtaking—this forest had such a captivating aesthetic that it could easily gain popurity if shared on social media. Unfortunately, that was impossible. However, travelers and adventurers would surely be drawn to explore this enchanting wilderness for their trips or vlogs.
For a moment, I stood frozen in awe, but I quickly regained my senses when I realized I was perched on a high peak at the foot of a hill.
Gnce
I shifted my gaze downward, peering over the edge of the cliff to gauge just how high up I was.
“Hmm… around 50 feet, I’d say,” I muttered to myself.
From my perspective, descending wouldn’t be much of a challenge. However, if a human were to look down from this cliff, it might easily trigger an anxiety attack. I always found it wild watching people record videos from the tops of tall buildings—it almost made me feel like I had acrophobia.
But that was in the past. Now, as a dragon, heights meant nothing to me.
Jump
Without hesitation, I leaped off the cliff.
As I descended, my speed increased, gravity pulling my body downward. Yet, I felt no fear, no anxiety—I simply let myself fall. The rush of air against my scales was exhirating.
Just before touching the ground, I unfurled my wings wide, sending powerful gusts of wind in all directions, effortlessly slowing my descent into a graceful nding.
“Hell yeah!!”
The idea had come to me back at the top, and now, having executed it fwlessly, I couldn’t help but feel impressed with myself.
Now on the ground, I scanned my surroundings, taking in every detail to familiarize myself with the location of my dwelling and ensure I wouldn’t get lost. Fortunately, my home was easy to find—it sat atop a mountain peak. If needed, I could simply fly up to locate it.
"Now… to find a water source," I decred.
Water is essential for survival; every living creature needs it to stay alive, and I am no exception to that rule.

half hour passed
?
Wandering through this unfamiliar forest was risky—I had no idea what kind of monsters I might encounter. At times, I sensed presences around me, accompanied by the occasional rustling noise. My sharp dragon senses picked up on everything; even the faintest sound was clear and easily detected. My vision, keen and far-reaching, allowed me to see with incredible crity.
The only conclusion I could come to was—
"Dragons are truly amazing," I murmured in awe.
Even the slightest change in temperature didn’t escape my notice.
“The temperature dropped… A water source might be nearby,” I muttered as I detected the subtle shift.
Without hesitation, I pressed forward in my search.
It didn’t take long before I arrived at a river.
As I stepped closer, I noticed how incredibly clear and pristine the water was—so pure that it seemed untouched by any impurities. Even if there were bacteria, I doubted they could affect me. After all, I possessed the fwless body of a dragon.
Gazing into the water, I saw my reflection—a small yet majestic dragon with sleek, glistening scales staring back at me.
"Hmm… Heh, how handsome."
I unconsciously blurted out my thoughts upon seeing my reflection in the water. Dragons tend to be quite biased about themselves for many reasons—one of the strongest being their innate narcissism. They take great pride in their beauty, strength, and abilities, often considering themselves fwless.
It took me a moment to snap back to reality.
“Oh… this is bad. I almost succumbed to my dragon instincts,” I muttered.
Well, I don’t think it’s wrong to feel that way. Even my human side found my dragon form quite majestic. What troubled me for a moment wasn’t the admiration itself, but rather the realization of my own narcissism.
It’s not that my human appearance was bad—I’d say I was fairly average. When I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I could confidently call myself handsome. After all, everyone has their own perception of what makes someone attractive.
i took a sip moments ter when i composed myself, the water flowed in my mouth as i sucked in the water, a refreshing feels of the water that draped down through my throat and slid down through my stomach, the freshness of the water is quite calming
Gulp Gulp Gulp
“mhmm..“
I savored the fresh essence of nature. While I wouldn’t call the water delicious since it has no taste, it was still refreshing and satisfying.
Now that I had secured a water source, the next thing I needed to find was food. I wasn’t sure if there were any mushrooms in this forest, as I hadn’t come across any during my exploration. I hoped to rely on them as a food source, but if that wasn’t an option, I could always hunt the creatures that lived here.
However, hunting in this unfamiliar forest was risky. As a newborn dragon, I had to be cautious—I cked both experience and proper combat skills. While I might become strong when I gain knowledge, it’s never a bad idea to be careful when it comes to survival.
