‘Okay, that makes sense. Can you expin the stats to me as well? Strength is pretty obvious, but what about the others?’

After nodding her head in understanding, she realizes there is something strange with her status. ‘Wait, why do I not have a name?’

‘I am aware I had a past life right before this one. Does that name not count? Come to think of it, I can't really remember what my past name was anyway.’ Her face contorts as she attempts to recall any details about her past life.
‘Well, it doesn’t matter anyway. What it was then, is not what it will be now! As for a new name, I am terrible at names…’ She makes a defeated expression as her ears droop downwards. ‘So I guess I'll hold off for now.’
‘Wait, more importantly, where are my parents!? Was I just abandoned out here?’ Waiting for her system to respond, her patience begins to run thin.
‘So NOW you stay quiet, you useless system.’ She curses her system yet again in her mind for ignoring her important question. ‘It doesn’t matter, I’m doing pretty well on my own, so I’ll be fine without my parents.’
She makes an irritated, but curious expression as she believes to hear the system make a disgruntled scoff at her previous comment. ‘Do you have something to say?’
‘Anyway, staying here won't do me any good. I should go do some leveling!’ After standing up, she walks out of her den and frolics through the snow.
‘This is amazing! I only increased my agility stat by a little, yet I am so fast!’ She continues running through the snow pyfully and with ease.
‘Okay, time to go find something to hunt. I might as well explore the area as well.’ She walks away from the front of her den and starts walking deeper into the forest, exploring curiously.
Snow brushes against her fur as she walks through the forest. Enjoying the sensation, she decides to pick up the pace. Checking her surroundings, she notices a snow mound in the distance. She smirks mischievously as she gets an idea.
‘That snow mound looks really fluffy. It makes me want to just-’ She quickly moves towards the snow mound, her tail swaying behind her. As she approaches it, she jumps into the air, causing her to dive into the mound of snow head-first. This completely submerges the front half of her body in snow.
‘That was so incredibly fun, and the snow broke my fall! I guess thanks to being an Arctic Fox, the cold doesn't really seem to bother me all that much. It must be because of my wonderful fur~.’ While mentally praising herself, she comes to a terrifying revetion.
‘I AM STUCK?!’ Panicking, she realizes that getting out of the mound of snow will be a challenge as her front half is buried, and her back half is left dangling in the air. ‘This is not fair… I just wanted to have some fun and now look at what has happened.’
Making her body squirm, she attempts to release herself from the hold of the snow mound, but her attempts are unsuccessful. She allows her body to go limp as she tries to reassess her situation.
‘It really looks like this is it this time, huh? Who knew it wouldn’t be a human that catches me, but a snow mound I leaped into willingly.’ She attempts to move her paws in the mound of snow, but fails due to not being strong enough.
‘If only I could dig myself out of this, I would be in a lot better shape. Wait, maybe there is a dig skill in the system store?!’ As she opens her system store, she quickly searches for a dig skill.

Her eye twitches in irritation at her system's question. ‘Starving fox cubs? I am that starving fox cub!’
[According to the host’s vitals, she is not currently in a starved state.]
She sighs heavily, exhausted at her system's relentlessness. ‘Whatever, I have more important things to do. Time to try out my new [Dig] skill!’
[Dig activated!]
With her new [Dig] skill active, she finds it much easier to move her paws under the snow. She moves the snow aside, digging a tunnel through the mound, and pops out the other side. As she emerged from the snow, a deer was watching her curiously. They both make eye contact for a few moments, before the deer immediately takes off in the other direction.
‘You bastard! You saw the whole thing, didn’t you?! I’ll show you!’ She darts out of the tunnel of snow and chases after the deer, quickly activating her [Sprint] skill. After a few minutes of chasing the deer, she catches up to it and jumps on its back.
‘This deer would make a great mount, if it hadn't seen too much.’ Using her [Scratch] skill, she relentlessly attacks the deer’s back with her cws, causing it to fil about and wail in pain. The deer rams its body against a tree, attempting to throw the vicious fox cub off its back. To its dismay, she stays firmly pnted on its back, using her cws to dig into its flesh.
‘If you would please stand still, it would make this process a lot quicker!’ she thinks in a very irritated tone. She continues to ssh at its back, leaving significant cw marks.
[Skill [Scratch] has leveled up to level 2!]
‘Perfect timing! Let’s finish this up then, because this is exhausting.’ Her sshes into the deer’s back become deeper after her skill leveled up, causing a significant amount of blood to flow. Managing to move up its back a bit, she takes a firm bite on its neck, causing blood to spill freely from it. The deer falls to the ground weakly, making a final groan before going completely limp, succumbing to its injuries.

‘Wow, I leveled up 2 times from that! I feel like this is almost too easy.’ She ys limply on the deer’s back, panting heavily from exhaustion, her beautiful white fur covered in its crimson blood. ‘I’m seriously way too exhausted. Using [Dig], [Sprint] and [Scratch] consecutively like that really wore me out. I’m going to have to put a lot of points into my stamina stat, as what good is having skills if you struggle to use them?’
After resting for a while, she stands up to eat as much of the deer as her little body can stomach.

‘Huh, looks like I didn’t level up this time from consuming its meat. I've been having a pretty easy time leveling up so far, so what gives?’

Shocked, her ears perk up as she realizes how valuable system meat actually is. ‘Wait, does that mean the system meat I ate earlier was actually insanely valuable?! It gave me a whole level just from eating 1!’

‘W-what?! Why didn’t you tell me this meat was so valuable sooner?! I wouldn’t have eaten the piece I did while in my den!’ Feeling pained from her loss, she yells at her system mentally.
‘What’s in the past, is in the past. At least I know this going forward. I'm still feeling exhausted from my fight earlier, so I should head back to my den and take a nap.’
