  Ara... huh?" Vanica's eyes widened in utter disbelief, her usual bravado faltering as the ued attack caught her off guard.

  From a safe distance, Loropechka awo panions watched the battlefield unfold in stunned silence. yed out before them was beyond prehension. They had witnessed tless battles and faced formidable foes, yet nothing in their experienpared to this.

  Vanica's overwhelming power was an undeniable force, a torrent of malevolehat surpassed their wildest fears. But Alex? He was something else entirely. A monstrosity among monsters.

  He fought like an apex predator, effortlessly suppressing the devil host even as she unleashed strength that would break lesser beings.

  "What a monster," Undine whispered, awe mingling with dread.

  "70%!" Vanica's triumphant cry rang out, despite the wounds that marred her body. Her grin widened as her form began to shift and darken.

  Vanica stiffened. "Megicu?!"

  The devil's voice was calm yet brimming with intrigue. "It appears our tract is interfering with the resoween me and him."

  "Huh? What are you talking about?" Vanica demanded.

  "Nothing," Megicu dismissed her with an eerie chuckle, her focus locked on Alex. "I thought he was merely a strong human. But those eyes, that hair, and this feroana... No, our oppo is no ordinary mortal."

  "WHAAAT?!" Vanica's shocked expression mirrored the disbelief eg in the air.

  Megicu's amusement deepened. "The human world truly is full of surprises."

  Alex effortlessly shattered a volley of bloody spears with a single, precise swing. His voice carried a sful edge. "Is that all you've got?"

  "NOT EVEN CLOSE!" Vanica roared, charging forward. Fshing in front of him at a speed that would put Mereoleona to shame, her eyes gleamed with a dangerous light as she swiped her cw at his face.

  Alex's voiapped her out of her daze. "Daydreaming in front of me?" His bde crackled with scarlet lightning as he swung it downward with lethal i. "It's over!"

  Just before the final blow nded, an oppressive, siiion filled the air. A twisted voice chuckled darkly. "…What an iing spe you are."

  Curse-Warding Magic: Deg World!

  An ominous purple light erupted, runes bursting from Vanica's form to ensnare Alex. The strands coiled around him like serpents, binding him tightly.

  "Abraham!!" Loropechka and Undine's panicked cries echoed as the se took a dire turn. Vanica's eyes gleamed with sadistic glee.

  "Fufufufu," An unfamiliar, distorted ugh spilled from her lips. The right side of her face darkened, her hair turning half-white. "Now then," she cooed, "how shall I toy with you?"

  Despite hearing the tonal ge in her void seeing that the right side of her face had turned pletely bck while half of her hair had bee white, Alex's grin didn't waver.

  "Megicu, I presume."

  "Oh?" The devil's smile widened as she stepped closer. Her firaced his cheek, a mockery of tenderness. "Even bound, you radiate defiance. Fasating. I must uncover what you truly are."

  "What are you doing, Megicu?!" Vanica's voiarled from within. "It was just getting good!"

  "Hush, Vanica," Megicu replied, her tone dripping with dession. "If I hadn't intervened, do you truly think you'd survive?"

  "THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" Vanica's frustration boiled over.

  "Isn't it?" Megicu smiled and asked.

  "No!" Vanica was clearly annoyed by getting interfered with during the amazing battle.

  "I see… But isn't better to take a closer look at such a fine spe?"

  "But I want to tinue fighting him." She whined.

  "Hush now. Let me put a curse on him so that we bring him back with u-" Megicu chuckled, stroking Alex's face again.

  A cold, ptuous snort cut her off. "Devour."

  A surge of bergy erupted from Alex, dev the runes and shattering the curse that bound him. The air grew heavy with raw, unyielding power.

  "He overpowered my curse?!" Megicu's shock turo exhiration. "Magnifit!"

  Alex's grin turned feral. "Now, the real fun begins!"

  He roared, unleashing an overwhelming torrent of mana. The ground quaked as space itself distorted and spiraled.

  Boom Boom

  BOOOMM!!

  The sheer iy of mana shattered the space itself as it began to twist into swirls.

  "Raawr!!" A beastly roar came from Alex's throat as he tio release more and more power.

  The storm of power ed the battlefield, shaking all present to their core. His beastly roar reverberated through the chaos.

  "Such power!" Vanica's aalpable.

  'He's no human!'

  Megicu's posure faltered as Alex's strength surged beyond anything she had entered.

  The air trembled with his raw energy!

  "Mana storm!" Megicu gasped. "He's disrupting the very world's mana! This is... impossible!"

  'To cause such a rea in the world's mana, he's DANGEROUS!'

  Finding that the situation was being increasingly more disadvantageous to them, Megicu's i rose even higher as she thrust her hand forward unleashing a torrent of rurands his way.

  But as they neared Alex, they dissolved instantly, absorbed into the abyss of his power.

  "Dangerous," Megicu murmured, her eyes alight with twisted admiration. "Utterly dangerous."
