Alex grinned, a sly and fident expression fshing across his face as he shrugged nontly.

"Don't worry about me," He said, his voice calm yet brimming with vi. His gaze darted around the room, meeting the wary eyes of the gathered Spirit Guardians and their Queen, Lolopechka.

"If that bitch really dares to show up, she'll have to leave her life behind if she ever wants to leave again."

Despite his bravado, Lolopechka's delicate brows furrowed with worry. She csped her hands tightly, her firembling slightly. Her expressiorayed the uainty she couldn't voice aloud.

Uhe Spirit of Water and Lolopechka's eternal protector, pced a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Rex, Lolopechka," Undine said, her tole yet firm. She turned her head tard Alex, her sharp eyes gleaming with reition of his potential. "This guy isn't ordinary. He's not just strong—he's exceptional."

Undine's words carried weight. She, a proud and dising spirit, rarely praised anyone. Yet her voice was resolute as she tinued. "Not only did he evade our perception and deceive us pletely, but he also defeated the Five Spirit Guardians—all of them, single-handedly. Even with my powers bined with Lolopechka's Saint Stage magic, I doubt we could beat him."

Lolopechka's eyes widened, her doubt giving way to astonishment.

"Is he really that powerful?" She asked hesitantly, her voice tinged with disbelief.

  Undine nodded without hesitation.

  "He is," She firmed.

Lolopechka stared at Alex, her uainty beginning to waver. Slowly, she nodded. Her trust, though fragile, began to take root.

  ---

With a deep breath, Lolopechka stepped forward. Her voice, soft yet resolute, broke the silence. "If you truly believe you help, I will trust you." She reached for the hem of her royal gown, lifting it slightly to reveal the cursed mark etched into her abdomen—a spiraling bck sigil that radiated malevolent energy.

Alex k, his movements deliberate. The room fell into an uneasy hush as he raised a hand, his fingers inches away from the curse.

"May I?" He asked, his voice surprisingly gentle.

Lolopechka nodded, her cheeks flushing faintly. She flinched slightly as Alex's fingers brushed against her skin. His touch was firm yet careful, as though he were handling fragile gss.

Alex studied the mark with a sharp, scrutinizing gaze, his expression unreadable. After a few moments, he stood.

"This curse is deeply rooted," He said, his tone grave. "Removing it won't be easy. But I will succeed."

He turo the Spirit Guardians, who had been watg the exge with growing apprehension. His gaze was steely.

"Whatever happens, do not interfere," He anded.

Gadjah, the leader of the Spirit Guardians, exged a tense gh his rades before stepping forward. "We'll stay back, but know this: if anything goes wrong, we will act."

Alex gave a curt nod. "Fair enough."

Undine, sensing the gravity of the situation, waved her hand. A torrent of water surged into the air, f a protective barrier around the room.

  "It's ready," She said.

Alex turned back to Lolopechka, her a reassuring smile. "Say goodbye to this curse, Queen of the Heart Kingdom."

  ---

The atmosphere shifted the moment Alex activated his power.

"Devour," He whispered, his voice resonating with an otherworldly authority. A surge of energy erupted from his hand, tg onto the cursed mark.

Lolopechka gasped as a searing warmth spread through her body, quickly followed by a bone-chilling cold. The sensation was overwhelming, and she clutched her abdomen, her legs trembling.

"Hold on," Alex said firmly, his voice cutting through her pain. "We're almost there."

The bck spiral writhed and pulsed as though alive, resisting his efforts with every ounce of its cursed energy. The room's tension reached a breaking point as the Spirit Guardians watched helplessly from behind the barrier.

Gadjah ched his fists, his heart pounding.

" he really do it?" He muttered, his voice barely audible.

"He ," Undine said, her voice steady. "He must."

The cursed mark began to shift, the dark energy crawling up Alex's arm like a living parasite. Lolopechka cried out, the pain unbearable as the curse drained her mana and vitality.

"Stay with me!" Alex shouted, his voice cutting through her screams. His focus was unyielding as he tightened his grip on the curse, f it to yield to his will. The bergy coiled and hissed, but Alex did not falter.

  ---

After what felt like ay, the mark finally relinquished its hold on Lolopechka. The spiraling sigil dissolved, leaving her skin unmarked.

Alex stumbled back, his breath ragged, but his expression triumphant.

"It's done," He said, his voice hoarse.

Undine rushed to Lolopechka's side, her hands glowing with healing magic.

"Thank you," She said, her voice filled with genuine gratitude. "You've given her a new lease on life."

Alex waved off her thanks. "No need fratitude. I was just keeping my end of the deal."

  ---

Later, in the Heart Kingdom's grand library, Gadjah handed Alex an aome.

"This book tains everything we know about devils," He said solemnly. "But be warned: once you open this door, there's n back."

Alex took the book without hesitation, a grin spreading across his face. "Too te for warnings. I crossed that line a long time ago."

As Alex delved into the tome, its forbidden knowledge unfolded before him, somewhere far away in a massive castle.

Vanica Zogratis strode through the dimly lit halls, her boots clig against the stone floor. Her eyepatch glinted in the faint light, the golden spade emblem a stark reminder of her allegiao the Dark Triad. Her expression was one of amusement, though her steps quied as a familiar preseugged at her sciousness.

She closed her eyes, her mind plunging into her subscious. There, amidst a void of darkness, loomed a colossal figure: Megicu. The devil's t form exuded an aura of malevoles glowing red eyes fixed on Vanica.

"What is it?" Vanica asked, her toinged with curiosity and impatience.

Megicu's voice, deep and resonant, echoed through the void. "Someone has broken the curse I pced on the girl bound to the Spirit of Water."

Vanica's lips curled into a sinister smile. "Oh? Now that's iing. Who would dare meddle with our pns?"

Megicu's growl reverberated through the space. "A human. A peculiar one. He's strong… perhaps to."

Vanica ughed, a cold, chilling sound. "Well then, it seems I'll o meet this human myself. Let's see how strong he really is."

The shadows deepened as her ughter echoed, the harbinger of aable csh that would shake the very foundations of the magical world.
