63: Epilogue.

Five months have passed since the death of the King Cuck. Since the end of the Cuckold War. The warm spring season had ended and the hot summer months had finally come.

The rebuilding of the city, no, the entire nation was continuing. The government and other private organizations came together to re-home and support the remaining popuce.

The King Cuck’s war had destroyed tens of cities, leaving millions of people homeless or without work. The remnants of his ship have crashed into different states, decimating local wildlife. It had been a tragedy that the normal popuce greatly felt.

Miss Milly was at the head of this rebuilding effort, working with the government to provide as much support as possible.

She helped get many ws passed reting to Cuckoldry and degeneracy, banning Cuckold (and many other types of) porn and acts from the entire nation. It was a loss for the few remaining normal Cucks, but a win for the rest of society. Especially now that dangerous degenerate powers are now common knowledge.

She also got a ton of recognition, along with Myusel Hoshino and Chad Thompson. The three of them were seen as the heroes who saved the world from the King Cuck, getting tons of recognition, love, and money.

Of course, there were rumors that there was a fourth or fifth hero who helped save the world. They came from survivors of the Cuckold harem but remained as silly rumors.

Milly used this fame as an opportunity to start up something called the Hero Society. She said she wanted to create a way for people with special powers to protect the people against degeneracy.

Before this, the few heroes running around were vigintes, not recognized by the government. Thanks to the Hero Society, they could save the city without the threat of being arrested.

Despite the positives coming after this conflict, there were still a lot of dangers running throughout this post Cuckold War world.

The King Cuck’s words did not ring hollow, for the threat of a new rising Cuck King and degeneracy would never go away.

In fact, the remnants of the King’s army hid across the world, creating their own tiny cults of Cucks. Attacks from seemingly degenerate powers had increased tenfold, adding to the chaos.

So, Milly wanted to find a way to fight against these threats in the long term. That is the goal of the Hero Society she helped establish a few months ago, along with the support of a rge private organization called the Detectives. That is all Jimmithey Johnrey James had known at least.

On the other hand, Myusel and Chad had left for another town, far away from Jimmithey, Jack, and Milly.

They somehow repaired their retionship, even after what Chad had done to Myusel. According to Milly, Chad promised to change himself for the better and become a real Alpha.

But Jimmithey believed the cycle would probably just repeat. He had no hope for them, but didn’t mind it as long as they were away from him.

He would never forgive Myusel for what she had done to him. At least not anytime soon. And he still thought Chad was a dickhead with a big ego.

But, he believed in the good within them. He believed that they could become better in some way, no matter how long that would take.

“After all, that’s what ‘She’ said to me…” Jimmithey thought to himself, remembering his “Wife’s” st words.

Jimmithey and Jack were allowed to return to their normal lives without being beled heroes. Milly said this was for the best, as it would keep them from unwanted attention.

Milly wanted both of them to enjoy their young adult years without thinking or reflecting on the cuck business.

This allowed Jimmithey and Jack to see their families again. Jimmithey now lives in one of the cheaper apartments created by the rebuilding efforts.

They had worked hard to save the world, yet were kept from getting the recognition they deserved. Normally, this would seem insulting and cruel, but it was fine to Jimmithey at least.

“Maybe it’s for the best. After all, this is what I wanted. The normal days, the peaceful ones. And I now have them…” Jimmithey thought on top of the rooftop of his half-rebuilt school. He was reflecting by himself, watching the construction going on nearby.

Jimmithey’s school was rebuilt in enough time for him and his remaining cssmates to finish their st school year. It was the only school in the entire city to be rebuilt, with it being the closest to shelters.

This made that second half of the school year very crowded and uncomfortable at times. It was a very somber second half since the majority of the students across the city had died in the initial attacks. But most students were able to struggle through until the end. And that included Jimmithey.

“I’m done with High School… Graduation just needs to happen, whenever it does. Then I’m a full-on adult. Most people would be stressed about that, but I’m happy… After all, I survived the King Cuck and saved the world.” Jimmithey muttered out loud to himself as he looked up into the sky.

But he turned when he heard the door behind him open up. Coming out from the door was a chubby blond guy, who was in a comic-styled T-shirt and shorts.

“Sup Jimmy! I brought some drinks.” Jack Hammy said as he walked through the rooftop door, carrying a six-pack of soda.

Jack had changed back from being the cute magical girl named Jackie, now being his regur fat self.

“Hey Jack. Pass me one dude.” Jimmithey asked as he held his hands open.

Jack ripped the packaging apart and threw a can at Jimmithey, who caught it.

“Shit man, summer’s been good as hell. We’ve been living like kings with the cash Milly lent us. You wanna go on a trip to that beach outside of town? We can go with your girl and just chill. I just got my driver's license also dude!” Jack asked as he opened a can, chugging it right as he finished speaking.

“Congrats on getting your license. Didn’t know they were doing tests already.” Jimmithey quickly congratuted, patting his friend’s back.

“Thanks, dude. What do you think about the beach trip idea tho? Sounds good or what?” Jack asked as he crossed his arms.

“Oh yeah. Hm… Yeah, I think we should try. Then I’ll be able to understand Jimmitha more…” Jimmithey responded, opening his soda can.

They both began to drink silently, watching the construction occur under them.

But the silence was broken when Jack threw his can onto the floor and opened another drink, turning to Jimmithey.

“Hey Jimmithey. The whole Cuck business we dealt with… I know I barely went through anything, especially compared to you…” Jack began to say before Jimmithey interrupted.

“Don’t say that man. We all went through shit.” Jimmithey commented quickly.

Jack nodded slowly in response, opening his can right after.

“I know, I know. I’m just saying, it sucked ass. But, even with how much it sucked, I feel like I’ve gotten better. Like I’ve learned something important from all of it.” Jack said as he gently swished his drink around.

“Really now? Expin it, boss.” Jimmithey asked as he turned to look back at Jack.

“So, like, before that shit happened, I didn’t care much about shit. I just wanted to py games and jack off, and I didn’t really appreciate what I had much. I just went day by day, expecting to get things I didn’t deserve. I thought with my dick and not with my brain. Even then, I was too scared to even walk up and talk to girls or do anything, man. I was compcent, caring about dumb unimportant crap over the people around me. But now that I almost lost my dick, nearly lost my life, almost lost my best friend, and lost… her… I now know what’s important.”

“Jack…” Jimmithey muttered with a smile on his face. He had never seen his friend be so self-reflective.

But then, Jack began to grin and chugged his can of coke down, finishing it in a second!

“What’s important is being powerful! When you have power, you don’t gotta worry about losing anything! You can be with the people you love and appreciate what you have. All of that is because you have everything you want! And you can get the dies! HAHA! Being near Myusel made me realize that nothing can repce the touch of a woman!”

“Jack…” Jimmithey muttered as he facepalmed himself. Jack was still being uncharacteristically self-reflective, but Jimmithey felt that he had gained the wrong lesson from all of this.

“I know it sounds crazy, but I’m not talking about your powers. I’m talking about money! Hard cash! I’m gonna get fucking rich bro. And you’re gonna be there with me, my right-hand man. That’s what you deserve, with all the shit you’ve been through. Right, dude?” Jack asked as he held up his hand for a handshake. Jimmithey chuckled and turned to his side.

“Jack, I appreciate it but I’m not a guy who would enjoy being rich. A simple, normal life is all I want. That’s one of the things I fought for after all. But, I’ll be there to help your ass anytime you need it.” Jimmithey responded as he lightly shoved Jack’s hand down.

Instead of being mad or disappointed, Jack nodded and ughed.

“Fair enough, dude. I haven’t thought about the crappy side of this money-making pn. I know it sounds vapid and shit but… I want to protect people in my own way. That’s what Jackie’s sacrifice taught me. I’m doing this in her memory over anything else.” Jack smiled as he pced his hand back on the handlebar.

“That’s what she would want, I bet… I’m still confused about all of that business with her and you…” Jimmithey sighed as he scratched his hair.

“I’m just as confused about you and Jimmitha! But, either way, we’re chilling until this upcoming school year ends. Let’s make the most of it, right pal?” Jack asked as he got his third can, holding up for a toast.

“Hell yeah.” Jimmithey responded as he tapped Jack’s soda with his own. They both drank their cans, finishing them as fast as they could.

“Just remember Jack, you’re a good guy. You care about people and are a damn good listener. Just don’t forget that, okay?” Jimmithey added, pushing his now crumpled-up can down.

“Heh, remember that yourself also Jimmithey. Thanks though, dude. Thanks.” Jack chuckled as his brownish-blond hair rushed in the wind.

As they were about to put their drinks away, both of them heard the door behind them open up.

They turned to see who it was, fearing that a staff member or a construction worker had noticed them hanging out there illegally.

But their fears disappeared when they saw a blond-haired girl in a bck hoodie and shorts walking towards them.

It was Jimmitha, Jimmithey’s supposed “girlfriend.” Despite their retionship starting well, he had realized he barely knew her or understood her, even months after she first came to save him against Chad. It created a bit of a rift between them, mostly created by Jimmithey.

After Jimmithey had reunited with his mother, they returned to their new home with Jimmitha. She had been living with them for the past few months and become a staple part of their home life.

Jimmithey’s mom had begun loving her like a daughter, while Jimmithey kept his distance out of confusion and fear.

At that moment, Jack began to walk away, looking back at Jimmithey and nodding. It seemed that he decided that the two needed some alone time, without the Hammy.

“So much for hating couples and being on my side… I guess it was Jackie who said that. Not him… Wait, they're all the same person at the end of the day.” Jimmithey thought to himself, watching Jack leave.

“Hey Jimmitha! I was just about to leave! I got my job to take care of, with stocks and shit. So, I’ll see you two ter. There are some drinks by Jimmithey over there! Seeya!” Jack chuckled as he ran past her, reaching the door.

Both Jimmitha and Jimmithey just stared at him as he waddled away, closing the door behind himself.

“Job? That’s a complete lie. He’s too much of a goober to work.” Jimmitha ughed as she walked towards Jimmithey, brushing her long blond hair away from her face.

“Yeah… Sure. He’s getting more mature though…” Jimmithey responded stiffly, looking away from her. He was still a bit uncomfortable near her.

There were three reasons why, the first being that she was so into him despite not knowing him.

The second one was Jimmithey’s track record with women interested in him. It was not even just women, it was just people in general having an interest in him. Whenever they did, something bad usually happened.

  And the other was…

“She looks exactly like me, but like, as a girl. This is too weird. And now we’re dating? If I knew that’s what she would ask me to do, then I wouldn’t have promised her that I would do whatever.” Jimmithey thought to himself as he looked straight at her.

She was his height, being pretty tall for a girl their age.

“Jimmithey. Whenever you’re around me, you’re off. I can tell because I can sense your emotions. Why is that?” Jimmitha asked straightforwardly.

This shocked Jimmithey, causing him to nearly drop the empty can he held.

“Um well… Fine. I’ll be honest. Why are you so nice to me? Everyone thinks you're dating me because you cling to me and are always helping me out. Hell, you even make meals for Mom and me! It’s nice and all, but I don’t get it. I don’t deserve any of it.” Jimmithey asked, looking away from her.

“Well first of all, without you, I wouldn’t be alive. The original representation of your powers, she sacrificed herself to create me. And her only wish was for me to protect you. It’s kind of hard-wired into me to like you.” She answered honestly, staring straight into his eyes.

“This doesn’t feel real. You can appreciate me and we can be friends, but why do you have to date me? You can be with someone else, be free to do whatever you want. I just feel uncomfortable trapping you…”

“But it makes me happy to be with you. You aren’t trapping me, it’s my own choice.” She responded, now standing incredibly close to him.

“S-sure then. But think about how weird it is to date someone who looks like you! If you’re so much like me, then I’m just gonna hear the same shit over and over again!” Jimmithey yelled, shaking his head slowly.

But as he did, he felt Jimmitha’s hands grab onto his shoulders, her green eyes piercing directly into his own. Green eyes were a feature Jimmithey never had, a notable difference he hadn’t noticed before.

“Jimmithey, you like Pizza, right? I hate it. It’s greasy and gross. You also like biking to get around, right? I think it’s a waste of time, as I could just get there faster by flying or running with my powers. I’d rather run if I want to exercise, but I don’t enjoy exercising much, at least by myself. You don’t want to use your powers anymore, right? But I do. I won’t but I want to. It sucks but I also want to live a normal life, with you. I guess that’s one simirity between us. Oh yeah. You’re also afraid I’m going to be like Myusel, right? That I’m going to want you for your body or your powers or whatever. Right? Hmm?”

“What the hell is the point of this?” Jimmithey mumbled, sweat dripping down from his face.

“The point is that I’m different from you and I’m not going to be what you fear of. Just because I look a bit like you, doesn’t mean I am you. Just because I say I love you doesn’t mean I’m like Myusel. I love you for you. I love you for your appreciation of everything and your willingness to help people. I haven’t been in this world for long, but you’re the only person I’ve seen like you…”

“...” Jimmithey stayed silent, with his jaw slightly dropped.

“And I just want you, the most special person to me, to give me a chance. Please?” Jimmitha asked, her head shifting to the side slightly.

She pouted a little bit in an attempt to make a cute face, a technique she had learned from a television show they were watching together.

“Heh, you’re really copying that one face?” Jimmithey chuckled as he turned his head away, both of them beginning to ugh for a few seconds.

Jimmithey closed his eyes and sighed, considering what she had said.

He found Jimmitha strange and still couldn't get why she wanted to be with him so much. But, he now recognized that she genuinely did like him.

“Fine, you win… Let’s start dating or whatever you want…” Jimmithey sighed, holding Jimmitha’s hands away from his shoulders.

They both held each other’s hands, down near their waists. They both stared into each other’s eyes, the moment sting for what felt to be forever.

They snapped out of it when they felt a cold gust of wind hit their skins, something very unnatural for the normally hot summer afternoon.

“We should go now… Your mom is probably cooking dinner by now. We shouldn’t keep her waiting anymore, doncha think?” Jimmitha commented as she pulled her hands away from Jimmithey.

“Yeah. You can go ahead, and I’ll catch up. I just want to clean up the mess Jack and I left.” Jimmithey replied as he looked at the floor.

“Alrighty. I’ll make sure no one comes up in the meantime!” Jimmitha nodded, turning away from her new boyfriend.

As she walked off, Jimmithey watched her silently. Before she could close the door, yelled one st thing at her.

“One more thing Jimmitha! Thanks for everything. Without you, we wouldn’t be here. None of us would be… Thank you…”

She nodded silently, smiling at him, and closed the door, leaving Jimmithey by himself on the rge rooftop.

He began to pick up the trash around himself, pcing it in the half-empty Soda pack. Once he finished, he turned back to the setting sky, staring at the purplish orange hues.

“Could my life have been better if I hadn’t fought in this war? Probably. But there’s no point in thinking about what could have been. My scars will take time to heal. Or maybe even won’t heal. But all that I know is… I got dealt the worst cards and made the best of it…” Jimmithey thought to himself, beginning to turn around from the rooftop’s guardrails.

“All that I know is that if I never met Myusel, then I wouldn’t be here right now. For better or for worse. Well, whatever. I’m kinda hungry… Time to go.” Jimmithey thought to himself, reaching for the roof’s entrance door.

He was about to walk back inside the building, but stopped and looked at the sky behind himself for a moment.

“...” He muttered as he closed the door, leaving the rooftop behind.

And with that, Jimmithey’s adolescent years had come to an end. So had his years fighting against degeneracy.

And so, he has reached the peace of normalcy that he wanted to get for so long.
