Day 0 after gaining freedom:
After rec from their initial excitement, Tharid Evile discussed their a.
"Our food, water, and shelter problem is temporarily solved, but the house has cracks and rotten parts. I will start w on whatever I , and we will repce the rotten parts ter. In the meantime, check the ring and see if there is anything for heating, cooling, cooking, and st food." Tharick said.
"Okay, on it." Evile nodded and started rummaging ihe ring.
In the meaharick crawled around the house in his miniature form and started mending any cracks he saw. Mend was a lvl 0 Initiate Spell that allowed the user to repair damaged non-magical objects, such as scratches, cracks, broken pencils, and other small damages. However, one had to uand what they were fixing, or the repair would be fwed. Of course, fixing a floorboard, wall, or bedframe was something anyone could do. As someoh 100% Transmutation Affinity, Tharick had a signifit advantage over others in this type of work since he could fix a rger area iime.
One might mistakenly believe they make a big buck out of this, but that is a fwed logie had to study the fuals of magic for several years before being able to cast the most basic of spells, and sidering the majority of the popution cked suffit eduagic was beyond their reach despite having the capacity for it. And even if they dedicate the time and effort to it, that doesn't mean they have suffit talent pared to bonafide apprentices.
A Wizard Tower didn't accept any Tom, Dick, and Harry, and even mediocre apprentices like Tharid Evile had qualities head and shoulder above most of the popution, being iop pertile. Tharick had genius-level Mental Strength and perfect Transmutation affinity, while Evile had great talent in Divination and Evocation and above-average Magic Power aal Strength. Otherwise, they wouldn't be accepted as apprentices even if their parents paid for it. While someoh 10% affinity could cast a spell, it was 10 times less effective than someoh 100% affinity, and the time o study was over ten times as much. It just wasn't worth it. Instead, it was better to focus on a craft if one didn't have affinity above 30-40% and suffit Mental Strength and Magic Power.
Due to these restris, the number of those able to cast magic was 1 in several dozen, and Official Wizards were about 1 in several thousand.
After doing a round around the house, Tharick finished his repair work. Of course, some wooden parts were rotten and o be repced ter. Mend hysical ge spell, not a chemical one.
"I finished s out the goods," Evile said with a bright smile.
"Okay, what do we have?" Tharick asked.
"First is the money. I am unsure how to measure the wealth of a Titled Wizard, but I think our master went half-broke or didn't keep most of his money here." Evile warily smiled, "There should be about ten pounds of gold s in a small chest- which is little, sidering how powerful our Master is."
"Well, he DID buy all of those expensive ingredients. Perhaps he even ied most of his remaining money on the research." Tharick said.
"Yeah, well, he had me help him sell your seed for a premium. Like, your seed was worth its weight in gold. Literally. We sold about 40 liters of your stuff, so there should have been 40kg of gold. Ten pounds is merely a tenth of that amount." Evile said.
"I don't know if I should feel proud, angry, or disturbed with that information." Tharick's eyes twitched.
"Without Master's els and his name, we wouldn't sell it anyway. The risk would be just too high." Evile helplessly said.
"I knoould attract profiteers who would want to monopolize the profits or even ensve me." Tharick said, knowing how evil humans be. Without suffit strength, you only bee exploited.
" are the magic items. I found some high-eing and Cooling stones. We use the Heating Stoo cook ahe house in winter and the Cooling Stoo keep us cool and preserve food in summer. I also found a Magic Testing Crystal, a Magic Staff, two level-7 Golem Guards, and Magic Scrolls, including a 9th-level Polymorphing spell." Evile happily said.
"harick happily said.
Heating and Cooling stones were Transmutatiohat magically heated or cooled their surroundings. Higher-end stones could even be used for cooking by heating water or preserving food by freezing water in cold ste. A high-end stone could easily cost a pound of gold, partially due to the material requirements.
As for the rest, they were, of course, good stuff. Especially the 9th-level spell scroll, an archmage-level spell, and a trump card. The only downside was that such scrolls were one-use items. Tharick guessed Zefaris kept it to study the spell instead of just a trump card.
"What else?" Tharick eagerly asked.
"I found books reting to Transmutation Magic, from magic theory to practical spells and notes up to the 8th level. There are also spells from the Divination, Evocation, and Abjuration schools, up to the 7th level. It is only up to the 6th level for the other fic schools. The rest are books about pnts, alchemy, body modificatioc. I even found a magic cookbook." Evile said.
"As expected of a Titled Wizard, I guess," Tharick replied.
With the vast Magic Power of a Titled Wizard, uheir affinity to a certain school is below 10%, they would study it to increase their spell repertoire.
"Well, that works for me. I specialize in Divination and Evocation anyways." Evile smiled.
"Yeah, but you have zero talent with Transmutation. You're pretty much of an oddball in our tower yourself." Thariented.
"If that weren't the case, I would likely not bee the old bastard's assistant, and instead your first meal!" Evile pouted.
"It is also the reason why we hooked up. Remember the day we became friends?" Tharick reminisced.
"Hehe. My robes got dirty and I started g, so you used ing magic. Sihen, I started relying on you whenever something got dirty." Evile chuckled.
"Like the time you wet your bed?" Tharick smirked.
"It was oime! Oime!" Evile gred.
"Heh! Says the Dirty Water Magi." Tharick chuckled.
"HEY! Stop mog me!" Evile stomped her feet, her cheeks reddening.
"I still remember how my face got soaked that first time. Happy times." Tharick's grin widened.
"We agreed about not mentioning it outside the bedroom when alone!" Evile poi Tharick.
"But we are in the bedroom. And we are aloharikly poi the obvious bed.
"... Touche." Evile facepalmed.
"Anyways, is there anything else in there?" Tharick asked.
"Some sundries, including some fancy clothes and a lot of uoothpaste and toothbrushes. He does have portable cooking and alchemy stations. There are even pots and pans." Evile said.
"That expins the magic cookbook. I always wao be a Magic Cook." Tharick smiled.
"Now that you have the Magic Power, it is oo te to pick up a hobby." Evile also smiled.
"Speaking of Magic Power, I didn't test my ges for a while. I wonder how much it ged." Tharick said.
"Probably by a lot. At least, your affihat is. To bee an apprenti the tower, you must have a minimum affinity of 60% in one magic school, 50% in two schools, or 40% in three schools." Evile said.
"Okay! I want to check my stats anyway. Take out the Magic Testing Crystal." Tharick said.
"Oh! I also didn't test mine. I wonder by how much it increased after eating all your stuff." Evile was also eager to see it.
"Was it tasty?" Tharick grinned.
"Surprisingly good, like milk and honey, much better than when your semen tasted like raw fish." Evile seriously pted the taste.
"I always give you more," Tharick said.
"Later. Testing first." Evile said and pulled out the Magic Testing Crystal.
They theed their tributes.

"Whoa, your affinities are over the top! You be a wizard in every school!" Evile enviously said while looking at the s results.
"That's what you get after eating 35 fellorentices." Tharick closed his eyes and said.
Remembering this, Evile sighed. "Hah... Yeah, I wish that didn't happen."

"I hought I would see the day when my Mental Strength was less than a third of my Magic Power." Evile pursed her lips.
"I wish I could have helped you with that." Tharick apologetically said.
"Not necessarily. I heard from one of enius master's crazy monologues that you might evolve and gain new racial abilities once you hit 1,000 in your attributes." Evile said.
"ht. I fot about evolution." Tharick replied in uanding.
Many types of magical creatures evolved and mutated in various ways. The most natural way was, of course, a natural mutation that spanned many geions. Creatures ge into something else after exposure to particur enviros or ging their diet. For example, Unis were merely horses that stayed in sacred gdes, thus mutating into the sacred beasts they were after several geions, just as Fire Samanders were Samahat entered a fire-riviro like an active volo. Giants were also proven to be distaives of Humans, likely separated hundreds of thousands of years prior.
The seethod of growth was more straightforward: evolution. As a creature improved its strength, subtle ges happeo its body. O accumuted enough power, a tiny lizard might bee a mighty dragon, just as a squid in the o might turn into a terrifying Kraken. Humans, too, evolved in this way as their strength improved.
The differeween a Human with 10 attribute points and 100 attribute points might be too negligible to notice, but what about 1,000? Or even 10,000? Gradually, they ged as creatures, evolving into something else. Most of the time, high-level wizards evolved magical ans and bohat improved their spellcasting abilities and thinking capacity, making them look visually the same yet their internal structure was anything but human.
As a Titled Wizard, Zefaris's Magic Poell over 10,000, perhaps even over 100,000, and he evolved to the point his genes were inpatible with regur humans, making him effectively sterile without using special means. Of course, this came with the be of increased lifespan, but that also had a limit. Even an Archmage had a limited lifespan which marked their iable doom.
Any other method was sidered artificial, such as Tharick being a Tentacle Monster. However, even artificial creatures could evolve. Abberanthins, for example, could evolve into other Aberrant creatures, so it made sehat Tharick could as well.
"So you said 1,000? Doesn't that mean we o shag for 80 days? Are you that horny?" Tharick smirked.
"Oh, excuse you, mister mother fucker! While you were shagging milfs every day, I had to ehat sex-filled room of yours, several times at that, and then drink your damn semen! Do you know it enhances libido? Every fug day, I had to Schlick myself to sleep while imagining you fug my brains out with your tentacles! If I didn't do that, I would fantasize about sex all day while helping the old bastard in his insane research!" Evile snapped.
"Eh... Sorry. How do you wao make it up to you?" Tharick warily asked.
"We are in a bedroom, alone, in the middle of nowhere, and I am ranting about how frustrated I am and how I want you to fuck my brains out. What do you think?" Evile gred.
"... Fuck your brains out?"
"You better!"
Within a minute, clothes already rustled down.
