The wolf used his snout to follow Shadow's trail. He became an expert over the years. With his expertise, it didn't take very long for him to find Shadow.

  Shadow lay in the same den his friends did when the nameless wolf and Shadow's sister found them. Of course he lay in the shadows of the cave.

  Must make him feel safe, he thought to himself. If he's camouflaged to it, he won't be seen.

  When Shadow sensed him, he backed up.

  "It's alright, I'm not going to hurt you." The nameless wolf said calmly.

  "It's not me I'm worried about." Shadow's voice was shaky. "I could hurt YOU."

  The black wolf chuckled.

  Shadow didn't say another word.

  "Sounds like your friends need you as much as you need them. Sounds like you care a lot about each other.....like brothers."

  Shadow bowed his head. "Now they know the truth about me. They probably hate me!"

  "There's no need to isolate yourself. You know, if something happens to you one day, you're going to wish you'd get help. Don't let this fear of hurting others hurt YOU."

  Shadow wheezed. "You know something? I was fine before all of this went down. I never should have been a kid so obsessed to discover what he had for a power!"

  The black wolf shook his head. "Let me tell you something, why you were so desperate to know what you can do is because deep down, you were so desperate to know who you are in this world, and what purpose you hold. The path to your inner self is a long journey of self discovery. Have you heard that it's not the destination, but the journey itself that matters?"

  Shadow hesitated to speak. "But.....I'm a nobody."
